We always debate when airing down. How much to air down for traction - the flip side - on rough terrain how much ground clearance can we loose. The only time we have had to use our winch was for snow runs. Most times we lower the air suspension to pack the snow down then raise to drive off.

You will want to all natural fabric - no synthetics. Wool is especially good as it will keep you warm even when wet. Another reason to not wear synthetics is in case of a fire. Layers are the best way. We used all wool Filson bib overalls and jackets. Glad we had these when changing a tire...
