    NPS 300 Crewcab questions

Geez, I would have been very peeved as well at that price, Let's hope the Oztec's hold up better, I have the ATW standard issue Powerdowns, not really happy with how they perform and have read of plenty of others having issues so expect to have to change them sooner than later. Cheers Steve

    NPS 300 Crewcab questions

Hi John, Please keep us updated on how these shocks perform?, did you do front and rear? Just read their lifetime warranty, unless you snapped one in half you might have a hard time claiming when 'fair wear and tear' is an exclusion! Cheers Steve

    Isuzu 'Dave' Unit Pin Out

Hi Brad, Still on the 2 do list I'm afraid. Agreed, it would be better for you to just fit an aftermarket head unit than try and repair DAVE, but they are unique to Australia so may be worth a call to the suppliers, their is a sticker on the unit from memory. I've had mine out once, remove...

    A camper worth waiting for

Most use the same composite panel for the interior, I know Vanglass make a thinner panel just for this but I was happy with the 23mm everywhere, I didn't get any CNC cuts done, just used raw panels but they did rebate most of the edges of the box, the stuff is dead easy to cut, diamond blade on...

    A camper worth waiting for

Agreed, has been discussed elsewhere, I intend to have a warning sticker on/near the door to alert people to live 240v within, Everything has a risk attached to it. Cheers Steve

    A camper worth waiting for

Apologies Tracka if I sounded a bit critical, was not my intention, as I said we all arrive at the same outcome with different versions, won't matter around the same campfire. Mark, there is heaps out there in google land on the Natures Head, I think Bris31 has his on slide in the doorway...

    A camper worth waiting for

Same Fridge Tracka, or maybe you got it from me :), I've tested mine over a year and it uses a tiny amount of power, less than my 90lt Waceo. Shannon did a great review on how he tested the different panel types, the Vanglass came out on top for strength and 2nd in insulation from memory...

    A camper worth waiting for

Hi Mark, Shannon speaks from good experience, have a look back at his build thread, I borrowed plenty of idea's for our rig. Another thumbs up for the Natures Head dunny, I've mounted it on a slide with actuator so the shower floor space has 2 uses. if you have to crap and shower at the same...

    Isuzu FTS700 'Wicked Turtle'

Glad to see someone else using Raptor, I'm planning on doing the bathroom with it and maybe the outside of the storage lockers. Did you find the coverage per bottle was as stated? Cheers Steve

Turning the wick up on an NPS

Someone on here a while back asked Isuzu about upgrading, needed a new ECU (same as reflashing I guess) and a different DPF (unless you are planning on deleting it), and I think there where concerns raised about the gearbox's ability to handle the extra horses. Like all mods, the further away...

    Nearing the end

Thanks, I have the Natures head, agreed there is bugger all difference, I believe the natures head 'inventor' used to work for airhead. There are a few here who have them as well. The Oz distributor says they can't keep up with demand. I'm 80% done on the build so hope to be fulltime on the...

    Isuzu 'Dave' Unit Pin Out

There are 3 parts to the Isuzu camera system, the harness, the camera and the cable that joins the 2 together- avail in 2 different length from memory. The harness is only short. Have a look behind the Dave unit and see if you have the extra camera plugs on the harness, they would probably be...

    Isuzu 'Dave' Unit Pin Out

Hi Brent, Sort of, the camera harness that interfaces with the Dave unit is approx $150 from Isuzu, from the picture on the parts computer it looks like standard RCA plugs on the other end so I'm planning on getting that bit then buying an ebay camera and suck it and see. I won't be doing that...

Suspension Seat Isuzu NPS crew Cab

Hi Cuddy, Yes that's a passenger seat (sorry, missed that detail in your OT), my truck is a 15' model so already came with OEM suspension drivers seat so I'm no help sorry, I had a look and the mounts for each side are very different. The floor for the passenger seat is quite flat but the...

Suspension Seat Isuzu NPS crew Cab

Hi Guys, 904 is the seat part number, comes in either RH or LH, this is the same seat as the aftermarket guys fit to L'Cruisers. You also need the slide rail kit that bolts to the bottom of the seat, sorry don't have the part number handy for that. That's the part with the handle sticking out...

Suspension Seat Isuzu NPS crew Cab

Agreed they are expensive new, I missed out on a few 2nd hand and in the end had to bite the bullet and go new. Being the co-pilots chair they can get a bit fussy about hand me downs as well :)

Suspension Seat Isuzu NPS crew Cab

Hi Trakka, I've just being thru this myself. The only aftermarket suspension seat that fits these cabs, afaik, is the Stratos, also known as KAB to some suppliers (KAB own Stratos). The part number for the front passenger seat is 904LH (LH just means the adjustment knob is on the LHS but...
