Charging a 300 ah battery with a 280 ah charger

I’ve got a Votronic triple Charger that can charge up to 280ah for Lithium (4 different charging profiles) Ive just sold my AGM's and looking at Lithium, as prices have reduced a bit here. But there isn't much range between 200 ah and 300ah battery over here, so I was thinking, of the 300 ah...

    Forest Sevice Hotshot Crew Truck.

Would you need to worry about the extra 3 gallons expanding, while fuelling up while on a trip. From the time you fill up and get 10-20 mins down the road, that extra diesel has been used, before it even has a chance to expand

New?? Suzuki Jimny looks like baby Wrangler/Gelandewagen

Yeah it does make it look retro, i'm a big fan of it, id say they will make a fair bit of coin by having this as a option. Thanks Omar for the link to the accessories, its quite a decent factory accessory range. I spoke to my Suzuki dealer a few weeks ago, we can start ordering them in...

    Mog down under.

Awesome, now you can get to Thames :ROFLMAO: Enjoy the Mog and look forwards to seeing a build thread. I love the Coromandel, we had a place on the beach over at Wyuna Bay, so i know about power outages and the coast road closed

    high output solar panels?

yeah ideally you want no flex, but i always tend to over think engineering, hensh the extra fold down awning legs to the body for extra support Im looking forwards to seeing what you come up with, i've seen some in the past with electronic in/out controls

    high output solar panels?

i really like the idea of a slide out solar awning it wouldn't be hard to fab up some adjustable legs to clamp into the body for extra support when out, like the fiamma awnings.

If I wanted to go on an expedition , reduce possible issues, and go in luxury......

They are sure are pretty, love that slide out, although im still love the Mog, just love the shape. I don't need to worry about length, width or hub temps, as ill never get one.

    Mercedes 1222A.. The beginning!

Sounds good, im looking forwards to seeing your build, looking forwards to the camper build I'm still working on my own camper build, although its a reasonably easy fit out for me in a van and being a cabinetmaker by trade

    Mercedes 1222A.. The beginning!

I see the logic in your shed plan. Yeah the 7kva genie us overkill for a camper, but if you have it sitting there, you might as well used it, those Telsa battery packs have seemed to help last summer down in SA. It's good to see that you are protecting your house, those fires cause pure...

    Mercedes 1222A.. The beginning!

Its good to see the shed frame go up, its hard work trying to build a vehicle without a shed. As these things take a fair bit of time to complete why did you design the shed with the two step floor, i thought i'd be easier having the all the floor on the same reference level. As for the...

    New Mog Life

It'll be interesting to see real world use on this, the lowest setting of 630W (7.5 amp 24v) is doable with a decent battery bank. Its worth seeing it up and running a meter on it to see how much it does draw.

    Another two Sportsmobile design failures.

Still can't get over the fact that a large company is still using MDF in a camper:rolleyes: Surely with their bulk buying power, laminated lightweight ply is affordable.

    Securing cabinets in the back

Don't have kids, but we have a dog.. I used lots of rivnuts in the walls (they also hold the ply paneling in place) and bolted the cabinets into those rivnuts and then fastened the bottom of the cabinets with the existing tie down points in the van.
