    I'll have to look at the bill from TOD. The total came in less then expected, so I think they ended up replacing the bearing instead of the whole thing.

    Looks like I will be leaving my built truck in the stable and taking my almost stock 80 to Overland Expo this year. Kinda feel bad... the 4Runner will be lonely, and it always wants to go on trips.... Do y'all think it will be mad at me? :P

    Quick question about the FZJ80 and 6bt

    The only fitment issue that I know about with a 4" lift is the clearance of the oil pan over the front axle. Several guys have modified their pans to clear the pan with less lift. The engine is 36" tall... thats the issue.

    I need to update this thread with some pictures... New storage system... check. New lower ball joints... check. New water pump... check. Another power steering pump (#3)... check. Having a rig that is ready to lead a group half way across the country on dirt roads... priceless.

    Troopers don't need much more then a good set of tires. I will be going up there a couple weekends for scouting trips in the area to the south of there. I'll see if I can put something together for a maintainence trip if I can ever get a free weekend! :snorkel:

    Tellin' ya, man... people don't get it when I try to tell them how different the State Park is from the National Park. Some of the views look similar, but the terrain types in the parks are completely different. The state park is somewhere where you worry about breaking down and having to walk...
