    Very small camping toilet?

Oh I agree, I did the same with my Port-a-Potti in my camper, but that was easier as they was a dumping station in the little town I lived in. I use a pett unit now and while I hate the 3 legged unit. it folds up small enough and everything is biodegradable.

    M101A1 Axle

Per Alaskan's site on a new one. 1636 wet or 1380 dry So with the trailer your looking at 2976 total weight wet not including any gear. Payload of a stock M101 is 1500 cross country and 2250 highway per the Olive Drab website. So it is over on a stock M101 when going off road, but on par going...

    Suggestions on a build

So I have not posted in here for a bit and I am getting ready to start kicking off my project. Everything was in Limbo for the last for months due to the Pandemic. I have been rethinking it and I may either hunt down a reasonably priced non overhang Alaskan camper or build something on my own...

Harbor Freight Jack Stands Recalled for Risk of Collapsing

Mine never failed me, not once. and I replaced both front and rear axles on my FJ60. That said, while they were the main ones on the frame I had a second set sitting as backups (not HF models). They were returned this weekend for a gift card (planning on buying some little toy for my kids)...

Alaskan camper mounted on a trailer

I like the idea of it on a trailer and I am looking at customizing my M101a2 to do exactly that. Once I have it finished I will be on the hunt for an Alaskan camper without the front overhang. Having the base camp with a trailer build for off road is really the ideal scenario for me.

This is a good tip. I am looking at possibly putting an non overhang Alaskan camper on mine. I have an M101a2 and will be making this mod for sure.

So I was planning on opening a business late last year and one thing led to another and it never happened. Then COVID-19 hit and I decided to hold off for the until next year. This has forced me to sell off some of my stock. All of this is brand new Factor 55 stuff, shipping is included for the...

Can a comealong substitute for a winch?

I have a Tirfor. Purchased when I had my F150 as there was no winch bumper available for it at the time (2007 model). I still have it and am debating on a hidden winch on my LR3 or keep using the Tirfor. I do not offroad as much (more forestry roads) and so it would sit there for 99% of its...

What do you consider to be the best cookware kit?

These postings are great. For me it is simple. I camp with my vehicle now and everything must fit in my chuck box, plus weight is less of an issue. Plates, bowels and cups I have a vintage set make of melamine. It is robust and I like it. Knives forks, spoon etc, I picked up at Ikea Chef...
