I love Flathead Lake! Is this around Big Arm?

The biggest problem I have is when both vehicles below sticker for almost the same (I actually paid less for the TRX than the Bronco Raptor $80k sticker), I just can’t justify the Bronco Raptor. It’s cool, but for $80k I expect a lot!

I’d suggest a Ram Power Wagon or the new Silverado ZR2.

TFL has a Silverado ZR2 in their fleet. I was pretty impressed after watching this video.

To be honest, this is what the Colorado really needs. Ok, maybe not. But with 702hp/650tq in my TRX, I have to think this setup would be insane!

I think you’re pretty spot on here. Chevy/GM has never really wanted to compete with the Raptor or the TRX. I think the approach they made with the Silverado ZR2 was smart on their part. Ford’s 3.5L is a good motor. I had a Raptor (I know, not exactly the same 3.5 as a standard F150), and the fuel economy and the power always impressed me.

The UConnect 5 is a train wreck. There are a ton of issues on the TRX forum. My truck came with UConnect 4, and so far it’s been fine. My buddy has a 2021 F150 with the horizontal 12” screen and that seems like a better setup with more hard buttons for climate control.

I have a 2021 TRX and my biggest complaint is how the 12” screen controls so many functions. I’d prefer some hard buttons for climate control and a 10” screen instead. Power is fantastic, fuel economy is not!

I had a 2012 Power Wagon with the 5.7L Hemi and it was a great truck. If I was in the market for another 2500 it would be a Power Wagon again!

I’m just under 10,000 miles on my Raptor and I’ve been pretty happy with the KO2’s. My brother runs the KO2’s on his Chevy Colorado Z71 and swears by them.

On one of the TRX forums there is a 21 or 24 page pdf put together by owners with issues found on or just after delivery. It’s kind of spooky!

I felt this way 100% until I bought my Raptor with the Four Wheel Drive Auto Mode (my previous truck was a 2012 Power Wagon with the old school lever on the floor). For those days where side roads are icy and main roads are dry, it makes pulling out into traffic so much nicer.
