Mild to Wild = Addiction 60 style

Cool pictures and postings! I'm almost at year 3 of 60 ownership, and it never fails to frustrate and me and make me smile at the same time. I fix one thing and another breaks...I hope I make it to 16!

    Sexiest Jeep Ever??

I saw this on Instagram. Obviously not available yet. I’ve owned SIX Toyotas, 5 of them Land Cruisers. But I don’t give a damn what anyone says, this is COOL!! This is what the FJ Cruiser should’ve been. I better start negotiations with the CFO now...

    Wrecked

I’m very, very sorry for your loss. I went through this twice in 2 years. I had a FZJ80 totaled due to a drunk driver and then a year later a ‘92 RRC totaled after being rear-ended by a Ram 3500. The 80-series wasn’t even a conversation because I only had liability on it at the time of the...

Switching my life to "not Jeans". Can I get some recomendations for good NON JEANS

I have a pair of the Duluth Trading Company Firehose cargo pants AND a pair of the 5-pocket Firehose “jeans”. I love both of them. I got a bad cut and spilled blood all over the cargo pants-I’m going to relace them with another pair. Nice-enough looking to wear around the office, while not too...

Show me your "Adult" rigs and how you keep them running.

I had big plans, but now I think I’m gonna keep things simple. I added an old-school ARB bumper, heavy springs up front, a new clutch, and a very useful old Rhino Rack basket. In the future, MAYBE I’ll add a 5 speed (we’ll see), definitely some 16” Tacoma steelies & 33” wheels, & continue to fix...

    Call me crazy...1994 Disco 1

Not sure. I replaced the ABS pump last spring. Still showing the ABS light. That's as likely an issue as anything else. I didn't even think of that. Thanks!

    Call me crazy...1994 Disco 1

Interesting point. I've noticed that the brake issue I mentioned is less frequent the more I drive it. I rarely see D1s in great shape. It always seems like they end up at "Buy here, pay here" types of places. After who knows how many owners. Everyone has their preferences...but I tend to be...

Sorry-I’m keeping the white Disco. The RRC was totalled and is gone. I just posted a pic of it for reference.
