Adding a Portable Panel to PV System When in Shade

I'm hoping to stay with one controller so that I can add a blue tooth monitor. It looks like maybe if I stick to parallel, I might be able to do this. If parallel, do I still need to stick with the same size panels?

Home Solar Panels vs. RV Solar Panels??

I have built a few systems for past campers with Renogy 100 or 180 watt panels, with a charge controller to a 12V battery (100ah or maybe larger). I run a Dometic fridge, and then small loads like Fantastic fan, LED lights, and charge phones. I have a new trailer that I need to build a system...

    Intech RV

Kwill, My truck has about a 3" lift, so this brings the trailer up to hitch height. On the east coast, I don't really need the lift. We take a 3 week trip to Colorado every summer and try to get pretty far off the beaten path. Although we are not rock crawling, some roads will have a rough...

Yup, Thanksgiving weekend. The axle has an angle on the spindles to start, give about 2 inches, then we added the 2.5" spacer kit.

I don't think there is room for both, the cut out for the AC is the 14"s that you would need for a typical vent. You could add this smaller fan that pops up from MaxxFan. Not sure how to run the wires back to the panel.

Build - Frontier with ARE DCU topper

Looks great, we've been all over the country in our '16 Frontier. It's a great reliable truck, try Nisstec for skids, bumpers, lifts, etc. We have ours lifted about 3 inches. Just sold the AT habitat and got a small aluminum trailer. Only issue we have ever had (this is our second Frontier)...

Portable diesel heater by Expedition Upfitter

FYI. I made a DIY version of this last winter with an Amazon cheap version of the heater using kerosene. It felt like it made sense to heat the outside air and pipe it in. The heater was capable of heating cold air (I tested in the teens (Fahrenheit) with no problem heating the air) but here...

    Questions: 1st Time Jeep Buyer

Haha, exactly what we are looking for. The Solara was nice but boring. But it does leak now, and is loud. Luckily we have a lifted truck for the big jobs. Thanks for the input.
