*** EDIT ***

*** The dealership FINALLY got back to us on this. The 120v shore cord does come with the trailer. ***

We called our sales person and it looks like our 2021 Flyer Chase delivery is being pushed back to January. So, with roughly 1 month until we pick up our trailer, can anyone confirm a simple question? We were curious if the Flyer Chase comes with a 120V detachable power cord or do we have to buy our own?

I put money down on a 2021 Chase yesterday, cannot wait to use it.

It has AC but not a maxxair fan, does anyone know if one can be in stalled in the same opening as the AC or can one be installed in front of the AC?

Thanks

I don't think there is room for both, the cut out for the AC is the 14"s that you would need for a typical vent. You could add this smaller fan that pops up from MaxxFan. Not sure how to run the wires back to the panel.

Did you pick that up in Irving Mass...Tim's rv sales by chance? I was eyeballing one there. Didn't have the lift kit in it though.:cool:
Yup, Thanksgiving weekend. The axle has an angle on the spindles to start, give about 2 inches, then we added the 2.5" spacer kit.

No disrespect but why does it need to be that high? How much clearance does your tow vehicle have?

Kwill, My truck has about a 3" lift, so this brings the trailer up to hitch height. On the east coast, I don't really need the lift. We take a 3 week trip to Colorado every summer and try to get pretty far off the beaten path. Although we are not rock crawling, some roads will have a rough section or two, or some steep water bars. Our goal is worry free travel. Adding the spacers to get the lift were an easy choice at $125, and besides, my 12 year old thinks it looks cool :)

Gotcha. I have a similar trailer and spend a fair amount of time in Colorado off the beaten path.

Anyways, been a while since I checked in here. I’ve done a few trips here and there with the Pursue, slowly figuring out small tweaks and things to add or change.

The biggest change I’d like to make at some point is adding a propane forced air heater for camping off the grid in cooler weather/colder climes.

Been a great little rig, though.

Only two real issues that were addressed this year.

#1: Performed the kitchen slide recall as a DIY. I never had any issues with my kitchen slide opening under travel but I feel better knowing I never will, now.

#2: Had the axle replaced under warranty due to alignment issues. Noticed some irregular tire wear, then noticed my axle wasn’t quite right in terms of toe, camber, and position. Dexter replaced it under warranty with no issues.

Oh, and I had the rear doors painted in Granite Crystal Metallic to fix my screw up from debadging the rear doors. FYI, you can’t polish the skin on these trailers. And Stoner’s terminator and most other tar/sap/goo removers will damage the finish. Be careful.

Next trip will be a 2+ week roadtrip from NJ to FL to TX and home. Looking forward to it. Hoping the Tacoma handles the trip as nicely as my Trailhawk GC did.
