Anyways, been a while since I checked in here. I’ve done a few trips here and there with the Pursue, slowly figuring out small tweaks and things to add or change.
The biggest change I’d like to make at some point is adding a propane forced air heater for camping off the grid in cooler weather/colder climes.
Been a great little rig, though.
Only two real issues that were addressed this year.
#1: Performed the kitchen slide recall as a DIY. I never had any issues with my kitchen slide opening under travel but I feel better knowing I never will, now.
#2: Had the axle replaced under warranty due to alignment issues. Noticed some irregular tire wear, then noticed my axle wasn’t quite right in terms of toe, camber, and position. Dexter replaced it under warranty with no issues.
Oh, and I had the rear doors painted in Granite Crystal Metallic to fix my screw up from debadging the rear doors. FYI, you can’t polish the skin on these trailers. And Stoner’s terminator and most other tar/sap/goo removers will damage the finish. Be careful.
In July we did some traveling to Ohio and Raystown Lake in PA.
We also stopped to see some friends in Lancaster on the way home.
In August we didn’t go anywhere but it definitely saw a lot of use in September.
Backyard glamping in Lititz, PA.
Cape May, NJ.
Gravel training weekend in late September in Honesdale, PA.
In October, it served as the perfect base camp for UnPAved 2020, a gravel bicycle race in central PA.
Next trip will be a 2+ week roadtrip from NJ to FL to TX and home. Looking forward to it. Hoping the Tacoma handles the trip as nicely as my Trailhawk GC did.
