There were about 15 in stock this morning at the OP's price, looks like they bumped it up to 199 as soon as the stock sold out.

Test driving a Jeep tomorrow, looking for some tips.

+1. My 2016 has 36K with lots of trail miles and washboards (i consider this to be worse than rock crawling!). Still drives like new, i would expect that 2016 to drive new as well.

A jumper cable is always there, but if you are remote in a single vehicle, a jump pack is great insurance

best, most recent, top of the line jump start / power pack?

My NOCO GB40 worked for a while but last week it run out of charge quick and now wont recharge at all. It looks like other folks had recharge issues after reading some of amazon reviews. So no i cant vouch for it so i will be switching to a different brand this time. I got the NOCO just this...

    Post your tents

The few times i actually use the annex. Tuff Stuff Brand, happy camper. It has been thru a lot of action and has sheltered our family to a lot of cool/cold remote sites. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

    Camp Chair Recommendations

We started with the traditional-style camp chairs sized for kids we got from Costco (keeps us motivated to fit our butt in there). It is surprisingly sturdy and had it for years, we stopped bringing adult-sized chairs. But i am trying to shave as much weight as i can and found Helinox. So we...

Traversing difficult terrain with a roof top tent

They didn't mention they do that while driving with 6-point harness :). I personally use the grab bar to push myself into the seat when needed, so i can put a light touch on the steering wheel. Never do i hold myself up with the steering wheel. Oh you can also lock your seatbelt, it is not as...

Traversing difficult terrain with a roof top tent

I wasn't in FJ Summit, i was there a week or so after where I had Black Bear to myself (for better or for worse!). That vid looks more like just a matter of abrupt weight transfer (look at the brake lights). And the lack of flex warranted a better line selection, things you can get away with...

Traversing difficult terrain with a roof top tent

The second vid is on Black Bear pass. I was there a week after this video so that makes me an expert :D. Yes you do have to point the truck to the left to combat the off-camber situation. The problem is, not shown in this video, is that you'll be facing your truck to a drop to the edge . You...

Traversing difficult terrain with a roof top tent

This is nothing crazy, but here the front slid sideways going uphill, so the truck is sideways. The front tire and rear tire lifted off the ground every small movement. I am sure i got plenty of room left, but with my family in there i am not risking it. I've been leaned over more than this...

Traversing difficult terrain with a roof top tent

low hanging trees... I had my fair share of tight trails here in the midwest and I am surprised how well the cover has held up, although I am sure a well placed thick pointy branch can change my mind. Good thing is you can get a new cover when yours get really weathered. With that said, if i...

    Rhino-Rack BatWing Review/Write Up

I forget to air it out at times and so far it hasnt shown any sign of molding. I wont make it a habit but at least that gives me some comfort. I also started taking it off if not using it for a long time. There's a cloth section on top piece of the cover and i think it started discoloring. I...

    Gobi Rack Rant

Interesting, i know they have a different rear bracker for some select type of bumpers. I didn't have to for mine. Drilling to make them "fit" seems like things are not lining up correctly and i for sure would be annoyed to receive a product like that.

Opinions on gobi rack for jlu

I've put some pool noodles in between rack and top to stop the flapping but to be honest i wont plan any long drives with it, just too loud. Great looking JL btw Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

Opinions on gobi rack for jlu

I second, one size never fits all. Really depends on what you want to do. Start with what you have and then you'll find out the kind of trips you actually want to do. In my case, having a self-contained setup works at this point. Whenever i see pics of trailers with their tents setup, i feel...

    Fridge Size?

For the OPs need, I think the 50qt is big enough, and can fill it up for one week worth of camping. At least in my fridge, set at around 27, it will keep the bottom as freezer and the top just really chilled down. You will have to play with it, the easiest way to tell is when your eggs are...
