    sorry, I assumed folks understood what I was asking for. I am not interested in a lift kit and wheels to go muddin or rock crawling. I'm trying to determine what overlanding shops have a solid understanding of the platform for building out a light weight JK for 1-2 week off highway excursions...

    Good question!! I posted in the jeep section because I'm torn between a turn key AEV with a 350 package or buying a used taco or GX and building a rig from there. basically I'm all over the map. heck, with allthe diesel conversion builds, the new diesel grand Cherokee would be the dogs...
