This is the only pic I have so far....
A little history...my granddaddy was ate up with the lung cancer 30 yrs ago when his baby daughter told him she and my dad were splitting up. We lived in Colorado and granddaddy lived in Mississippi. Mom didn't have enough money to buy a trailer to get all...
What I took away from the video is that the $5-10k yj went everywhere the $35-50k rubicon went. I'm sure there are places the rubicon can go that the yj can't, but for my entertainment purposes, I'd be just as happy with the yj.
amc 258 /4.2 with 3 sp auto. stock front and rear diffs and gears. engine and transmission need some work to stop all the common leaks that are frequently found on these models. in addition to drive train concerns, it could also use some attention to gauges and senders.
i'm in Mississippi...
81 cj7. hoping to use this for camping and hunting vehicle. not yet 100% confident on the reliability of the drivetrain to set out on long range trip, but over time, hope to get it expedition worthy.
can you explain or have a diagram for wiring this in? i take it the black is the ground and the red is positive coming off a relay perhaps?
and the accessory positive is connected to the middle prong of the corresponding switch, and accessory grounded at a different location?
