I built a "20 minute bracket" to mount an aerial for a Canadian Flag. Happy Canada Day to the Canadians.

I think I need a bigger truck!
A couple of weeks back I finally installed my steering box. Man, what a difference that made. Then took it in for an alignment and got a few split TRE boots replaced. Ran and steered like new on the way to NWOR this past weekend.

About 700 KM on the highway and into the Cascades and it was perfect.

Oh and last week I finally had my UCA's installed in the Jeep WK. The JBA stuff is very nice, and the new ball joints along with new bushings and stiffer arms sure make it drive like new.

And now after all that work on 2 Jeeps and a trailer, I am officially broke as heck.

JWS 279-J tail lights are now installed on Snoopy.

Took me a minute to wire them right. Not as many plugs on the driver's side unit.
The passenger side is plug/play. The driver's side you have to plug one of the old ones into the leftover socket, then plug in the new light. I zip-tied the the resistors to the wire bundles and declared victory.

I like the way they did it.
The red lights are blade fashion. Back-up light is crisp and bright.
And a little surprise is included that I didn't expect --- it flashes sideways alternately on blinker; a great safety feature.

My cel phone pics were terrible. I'll try to remember my camera in the morning.

Here's their ad photo

I was wondering if you were going with JW or TL. I've been very pleased with my JWs once I got the anti flicker harness situation resolved (received a bad one).

Yup, I'm trying to catch up to you. Picking up a temporary lift and a winch today.

The JW speakers seem better. But I'm not a fan of their look or price. I like that the Trucklites look basically oem but slightly more modern. Now if I could find those Mopar Topo grill wraps from last years EJS, my front j d would look super slick.

I think the TLs look more OEM, and I was anticipating getting those for my Jeep when I first bought it. I found a smoking deal on the JWs, and I had several hundred dollars in rewards on my credit card that made the purchase cost next to nothing. I liked the JWs quite a bit by themselves, but now combined with the JW fogs I love them. TLs are hard to beat for value though!
