A slightly pared down GXV AT (the smaller one) might just work on an F350. If the camper was 5,000 pounds or less and the chassis cab was 6,000, you could just stay under the GVWR of around 11,000 pounds. Not sure this is still for sale, but if a person wanted to, they could easily convert the bunks to inside storage for 4 bicycles. Usually not an option with Earthroamer. No idea whether it's really still for sale or not.

I think if they can deliver 6 to 10 in the first year that would be pretty darn good. That format would be perfect for me if it was on the F350 Supercab chassis. It just feels great when you are inside the camper.

The header at the start of the video needs to show 14,000, not 1400. Those plates look pretty heavy.

Just curious, but is it just a coincidence that this is located in Springfield, MO? Same town as GXV. Also, with the habitat box being 24' and that cab looking like 16', is 40' a good guess for the overall length? Plus 4' of bikes and spare tire? Thanks. The price isn't out of line if it meets...

OK, you guys win. Let me know when I can get one of these new cold weather, high ground clearance units, with that much storage space, etc. for even twice the money and I will be all over it. From what I hear, it's still a waiting game of about a year and I don't see anything at any price...

I agree about the quality and ground clearance, but I don't see many Class A's with this much storage. And, FWIW the Cross Trail "Extreme" does have a 2" lift.

I agree on the quality, but the storage space on the Coachmen Cross Trail is amazing. And, the Cross Trail will be $60,000 or so less. You get what you pay for (sometimes anyhow). Not sure how quickly you can get the Cross Trail, but probably quicker than the AeonRV.

I know these aren't really offroad, but here is another option for those looking at the Winnebago Ekko. This is a Coachmen RV Cross Trail 20XG Transit AWD. It has an "Extreme" option with a 2" lift and more lithium batteries. I think you can get 640 AH of batteries. They are quite a bit cheaper...

But, you can get more living space from the van chassis for the same overall length vehicle and you can include the front seats as part of the camper if you design it that way. The truck chassis is a different vehicle. I was just comparing the Transit with the E-350 and true 4x4 options
