    The frame is actually galvanized steel. There is tons of aluminum in other areas of the trailer but not in the frame it self. Thanks. I agree the design is pretty beefy. I don't expect any failures.

    Oh No, they are multiplying I camped at Valley of Fire State Park last weekend with a couple that just imported the 3rd Karavan to the US. Duo Glamping is fun stuff. :sombrero:

    Sorry I just now saw this message from you asking about the North Rim. I hope you had a great trip there. I love the back county of the north rim. It's too late now but my advise is carry a chain saw with you since the trees around there fall across the roads a lot when it gets windy.

    Some folks shoot a bunch of short exposures and then combine them to get the full circle of star trails. I take the lazy approach and shoot one long exposure. This is about a 30 min exposure at ISO 200.

    Thanks. Many of my night sky captures have not lived up to my expectations. I finally grew a pair and cranked up the ISO to 6400 for this shot. With my past equipment ISO 6400 would produce a noisy mess. The 5DMK III handles it just fine. :victory: Now to find another dark sky with better...
