Airway Beacons and Petroglyphs in Utah's west desert

This one left me stranded at a gate. It's on private land, and even though it's BLM around it, you can't get to it. Super bummed too, it looks awesome! And is close to where I live.

Airway Beacons and Petroglyphs in Utah's west desert

Utah is freaking rad. I think I first heard about these airway beacons from a local guy, detailing their history. Ever since I've been wanting to go out and find them! I found 2, and the 3rd was unreachable because of a locked gate. Besides that one behind the gate, there are still 2 more out...

Exploring an island on the Great Salt Lake in our 1983 Toyota Pickup

After saving a Pickup from an inevitable demise, we've slowly been nurturing it back to health. Succeeding as a reliable daily, it was time for a bigger adventure. Clocking almost 120 miles, the plucky Pickup didn't skip a beat! There's a link to my build thread in my signature, but here's a...

    Dice...... The 1978 Jeep Wagoneer

I seriously can't get enough. Awesome Wagoneer! And I love all of the other relic's that you have going with it. Seriously, I can't get enough. I couldn't help but notice you have the same Coleman Stove as me! That's a 425, right? The round tank is a dead giveaway. And my lantern is from 1976 -...

The First Gen Pickup/Hilux (79-83) Thread

Saved an 83' a few weeks ago from the Idaho weather! Going to go tinker on it some more this weekend, before I haul it down to Utah where she'll get used well. Love these little trucks.

Yearly bump for 83 Pickup goodness! Hopefully life is back on track, and the little Pickup is out raking in the miles and memories. Just scored an 83 myself!

Capitol Reef National Park in our Land Cruiser

Thanks for the tip! Yeah we'd definitely like to stay there for the night and catch the Temple of the Sun at either sunset or sunrise. Just another reason to go back!

Capitol Reef National Park in our Land Cruiser

Easily doable. Like he said, we did it in about 3-4 hours. I think we were moving faster than we should have. I wish we would have stopped to look around more, but we just weren't sure how long it would take. Thank you! Thanks for checking it out!

Capitol Reef National Park in our Land Cruiser

Thanks for checking it out! We really didn't know what to expect, but whatever it was, it exceeded our expectations! Thank you! The loop was incredible, I'm glad that we made it the focal point of our trip! And thank you! We're no experts by any means, but it's fun to share our adventures, and...

Capitol Reef National Park in our Land Cruiser

Roads were in surprisingly good shape. Our wet spring did keep the dust down, which is always a bonus! Thanks for checking it out!
