Hey chili, thank you for the advice but I stay away from powdercoating on these types of parts b/c when it's scratched it would have to be redone versus touched up. With these parts sliding over rocks, it would tear right through the powder coat.
Most trucks across the makes/models do not have adequate transmission breather tubes as they sit right on top of the case. Here's a good video showing how easy it is to extend and save from a costly rebuild.
