I have no data to back this up but I suspect that if a current owner were selling a slightly used EarthRoamer they could indeed sell if for more that new as some potential buyers weight paying the premium to have it now instead of waiting for theirs to built as a new unit.
Exactly, I would hear people complain about buying a land cruiser or GWagen. They would say its too expensive or flashy and they need to go back to offering just the basics for the US market. Well, here it is. Toyota is giving customers two options.
I see no reason these won't sell in the US...
I was surprised they were releasing the "truck version" and I don't need it but I want it. Its going to be hard to break me away from my 2020 Power Wagon but this would be the truck to get me to move down to a mid-size truck (is this considered mid-size?).
On paper I like the payload and towing...
This is what I just don't get with using a mid-size Tacoma with a low payload for these heavy platforms. Not only that but the Tacoma is not known for having a ton of power.
GVWR is GVWR and its there for a reason and I believe if most folks got their rigs weighted they would be surprised they...
Finally, a Lexus without that huge grill. I really like the design but I suspect a trail edition is going to be in high $70k to mid $80k for pricing since it holds the Lexus badge. I keep my eyes out for any new Toyota Sequoia TRD Pro's and those run $79K without dealer markups plus Toyota still...
Yes, I believe the box is made in South Korea so it will be interesting to see how many of these they can be delivered to the US. I also don't believe they gave a date on when they would be available at the dealer.
Its good to see this segment growing but after reading their website they should have had an editor review it because for spelling and grammar. I'm not saying grammar is more important than the actual product but it just looks unprofessional.
Also, is 27North offering two different chassis' as...
The costs (software, hosting, image hosting) is not expensive when first starting out but monetizing will take time and you'll need lot and lot of quality content.
Following as its always good to see other sources of information that people find useful.
I was never interested in the Tacoma due to its unconformable cabin and lack of power but if I'm in the market for a new mid-sized truck the Trail Hunter with a 6' bed would be on my list.
Unfortunately, I expect these to go for a premium based on the current SUV/Truck market and the fact...
Not for me but I think its good for these companies to show off what's possible even if it will not appeal to the masses. The one thing I hope they are careful about is not making filling their "base" model campers with a whole bunch of features which prices some people out from buying and it...
Hmm, I just read this and honestly its what I expected for pricing (I was thinking $70K starting price for a US spec baseline trim). Unfortunately this is market we live in but for that price (and I expect above MSRP for a bit) I see other options from a utility standpoint (full size truck, Land...
Agreed, I don't also like buying from dealers but I can go on rvtrader right now and find out what dealer has a Mission Overland in stock, options, and how much they want for it.
For the NW Teardrop Ranger you ended up going with did you have it built to order and if so what was the buying process like (they require a deposit, build time)?
Well that sucks. I'm one that complains the manufacturer/franchise dealer model when it comes to making automobile and RV purchases because I think an option should be for direct to consumer sales but this drama is the type of stuff they give that idea some pause even though there are some great...
I don’t think it’s a good idea to part with your money on a deposit with a business that seems to have cash flow issues and is looking for more investors.
