Those are cool steps. I haven't seen those before. The way that they stow away is great. In some applications, it would be cool to have a bench seat that works like that.
The top of our bed platform is 26 inches from the floor. So the top of our mattress will be about 34-35 inches from the...
I think on a mog, the best place might be between the clutch and transmission. It might fit and the torque would be the lowest. It would be neat to get a three speed with crawling, 1:1, and overdrive. I'd pay a good bit for something like that if it was reliable and easy-ish to put in.

That is interesting. On our U1300L, the shaft between the clutch and the transmission is actually pretty long. I bet something like that would fit.

It is looking so good! I like all the glossy panels. I think that was a good way to go.
As a side note, your box looks so much roomier than ours. It's amazing how a little more length changes the look of the whole interior volume.

I'm sorry to hear that you had to get assistance, but I'm glad it was a simple fix. I think I'll go check to make sure that we have clearance between the compressed air line and the fuel pump on our truck.
350 liters of fuel for 2200 km is about 14.78 miles per gallon That's good mileage...
That's interesting! I think I'd keep the mog, but it would be a hard choice.
Also, if I lived in such a nice place, I'd probably travel less. Nice land!
That is such a cool vehicle to build from. It will be a lot of work, but it will be really cool when finished. I look forward to seeing it transform.
Before settling on our current Unimog, we very briefly considered a Bedford. I always loved the classic sheet-metal curves of older trucks...
Your new seats look really nice. We just finished putting in new seat a few weeks ago as well. I was curious how you mounted your seat belts. Are they attached to the seats or the threaded holes at the base of the rear wall? Our seats came with seat mounted belts, but we also have the...
Poor guy. I hope his rig isn't too messed up.
I sure hope we never do that with our Mog. After what happened to you guys earlier this year, Neil, I am super paranoid about how soft the shoulder of the road can be.
It always surprises me in photos like these how mild the road seems, but I...
I always thought that those large opening walls on the Bimobil were pretty cool looking. I wonder how often people actually use them, though. It would be neat to hear from people that have them. I bet there are as many opinions out there as there are trucks. It probably just comes down to...
That looks good. I would really like to add a system like that, too. It's on my long list of future upgrades. At what location did you tap into the truck system?
Your winch looks very nice enclosed in the bumper like that. The winch on our truck is mounted on the front of the bumper and looks a little odd.

We have a 18 Bar system in our truck, and I just got a MANN TB 1374/4 1703 cartridge. You might want to check the spec sheet for the cartridge, but I think it removes some oil as well as water. I think the 18 Bar dryers have a larger (M42x1.5) thread on the cartridge than the lower pressure...
