    Homemade Roofracks.

Front Runner sells their slats and side rails individually, as well as a bunch of different pieces to hold them together. not the cheap way to go though! someone must sell something similar in more of a wholesale capacity...

Sceptor can leaks when I pour

i usually just hand tighten good and with fairly new lid gaskets they don't leak even ratchet strapped down on their side. i keep an oil filter wrench in my home-made PVC spout storage to get them loose after all day in the sun or big changes in altitude. there's at least 2 designs out there...

Sceptor can leaks when I pour

i have the same setup, mine does not leak. looks like your o-ring is shrunken and cracked, try a new viton one for gas - you can get them on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Viton-O-Ring-Gasket-for-Scepter-Fuel-Can-Spout-MFC-NEW-/162204348123 also be sure you don't just turn the can completely...

Show me your DITCH LIGHTS or ROCK CLEARANCE lights

the typical approach is to mount multiple downward facing LED pods or DRL modules of some brand. i tried something different on my old WJ and it ended up working pretty well on there... mounting 2 LED work/flood lights on my belly skid, one forward and one rearward (angled down some)...

Inexpensive DIY lock in/out mechanism for drawer slides (on a fridge slide)

Accuride, Fulterer, and Hettich all make nice lock in/out drawer slides - i've used Accuride before, but depending on the length they all run $120+ easily. i decided to go for an inexpensive but highly usable DIY mechanism on my recent fridge slide: get the spring indexing pin here ($5-$25...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

man that's clean, nice! i highly recommend the Clayton Offroad 4.5" lift. it's not cheap (and neither is installation), but it was the one thing on my WJ i wouldn't have changed at all if i had to do it all over again - do it once and do it right! however, if you're just looking for a mild 2" -...

Post pictures of your cab management ideas

completely different purposes ;) - the small eagletac AA light was general purpose most often used light for exploring mines/caves/whatever. - the petzl zipka headlamp is probably used just as often, pretty much the goto light after dark around camp. - the maglite with drop-in 700lm terrastar...
