    Old truck exploring.

Ah morning! Shite it's cold! We made some coffee and threw everything back into the truck. The only "stove" we brought for this trip was our MSR Reactor (It's basically the MSR brand Jetboil). We use it in conjunction with a small coffee grinder and french press every morning. For about 2 and a...

Cheers! We get sorta attached to mechanical things. LOL Thanks Nate, working on editing a video about visiting Butch and Sundance's ranch in Patagonia right now.

We agree completely. Gear is nice, but it does tend to become the focus at some point. Cheers! Will do, more in the morning. Thanks! Cheers Nate! I can't believe how we got him and how it's turned out. He is like a faithful dog. Tim

Sorry for the portrait mode photos. By the way, this entire trip report is photos from my cracked cell phone. Only the finest for you. My favorite terrain of all the world terrains. We went over this spot called Tank Pass. Made me concentrate a bit, but not bad. Any truck should make it. As...

So, we missed the simple things. It's not that we don't love having a fridge and a poptop with nice suspension, but there is something about simplicity. The same reason a motorcycle ride can be so much better than a ride in a much more comfortable new car on the same road. You're out IN it...

1 week ago we were finishing the Baja 1000. The day after I wrote up a Race Summary, but it's more of a stream of consciousness. https://www.dirtsunrise.com/post/2020-baja-1000-race-summary

A little 2020 Baja 1000 Prerun video. This is Race Mile 275 to RM470. We preran, we ate tacos, we handed out stickers to kids and we broke some wheel studs off in the dark. This will give you an idea of about 60% of race pace. My eyeballs still hurt.

    2020 Baja 1000

I saw a lot of "Overlanders" down there. Who went, who raced, who took photos and videos? We raced #1074. RM 375 to 607. I was in the car for 13 hours. Sorting through the videos and writing up some sort of race summary now. Post what you've got! A little 2020 Baja 1000 Prerun video. This is...
