The weight of the solar panel on mine requires a bit more effort to raise, and practically no effort to close, the roof, and I'm thinking the bungees could help inadvertent pinching of the tent before I can check all sides.

So, after reading a review of the new Eezi-Awn Stealth RTT, I'm wondering if the J30 can be modified with similar quick-release bungees so it self-tucks, too. Anyone done this? Likewise, has anyone added support struts?

I don't recall what they were when stock, but the bottom edges of the fenders are now 40.5" front/40" rear from street level at a fully-loaded weight of approx. 6400#. The set-up gives a comfortable ride without negatively affecting the off-roading I do.
