About to pull the trigger on a James Baroud. However I am concerned about the effect the Arizona Sun will have on the fiberglass. I do not have shaded parking a majority of the day and tent will need to stay on the vehicle full time. Any feedback would be great!

I am the same size and have been looking at hard shell tents. I think I am going to go with a James Baroud XXL. I looked at both the alucab and GFC. If I where between the two I would go with the AluCab.

What are you upgrading to?

Currently debating between a new Dart and a used James Baroud. Anyone have any input?

Any concerns with the Alu-Cab Tent in lightning storms? I live in Arizona and we tend to have a pretty active monsoon season. The idea of sleeping inside a metal tent on the roof is slightly concerning. Other then that love the tent.

The stealth has more room in the foot box. It lifts up vs the Alu Cab which is a wedge. For me personally though I’d choose the Alu Cab because it has a roof rack. Would be great for attaching a kayak or solar pannels.

Beautiful! If it wouldn’t look funky on my 2016 I’d be all over it. Hopefully it finds a good home soon!
