Only recent change is the tires and rims on Scrappy... the trailer. I scored a full set of 16" XJ rims with decent tires. Tire size doesn't match yet. But it's a vast improvement over the old rotted out 15" rims and tires I've been running. 2021-03-30_08-48-46 by Tim, on Flickr

Just a quick update. I wasn't a big fan of how the RTT make the jeep ride, so I moved it to the trailer. The other benefit of this is the whole base camp thing. Also I added a super cheap awning. I'm pretty happy with the current setup. Now I just need it to warm up a bit more so I can go...

I like the concept, however have a couple concerns. Can you get it tagged as a trailer? Weight will be an issue, not just over all weight, but distribution of it because the axle is far enough back it will cause a heavy tongue weight.

The Rene has been a great little vehicle. Only issues in the first 21000 miles have been minor electronic glitches, ie Sat radio cutting out and after getting a software update, the remote starts cuts off when unlocking the doors. aside from that, it's been a great little comfortable rig.
