    Just another Jeep

So my XJ has recently become my daily driver. First major upgrade in a long time was to add LED headlights. Anyone who's driven an XJ at night knows the stock lights are less than sufficient. LED Headlights by Tim, on Flickr These lights are amazing. Hope they last! I also picked up a parts...

A slight reconfiguration of the trailer is needed to accommodate PMC (Project Midlife Crisis). 1977 Honda XL350, some assembly required. Only 13000 original miles, and the price was free. So, why not? 20210531_101039 by Tim, on Flickr

It's funny how design flaws present themselves in times when least convenient. My new favorite Jeep pic by Tim, on Flickr I stretched my legs this weekend and pushed the jeep and trailer out on the longest trip to date. The jeep performed flawlessly. Considering it's a 24 year old vehicle with...

Only recent change is the tires and rims on Scrappy... the trailer. I scored a full set of 16" XJ rims with decent tires. Tire size doesn't match yet. But it's a vast improvement over the old rotted out 15" rims and tires I've been running. 2021-03-30_08-48-46 by Tim, on Flickr

Just a quick update. I wasn't a big fan of how the RTT make the jeep ride, so I moved it to the trailer. The other benefit of this is the whole base camp thing. Also I added a super cheap awning. I'm pretty happy with the current setup. Now I just need it to warm up a bit more so I can go...

    Just another Jeep

What a year... My poor jeep hasn't changed a whole lot since February. Got slightly used front bumper upgrade and installed a winch, and my recent purchase has been a Smittybilt Overland XL RTT. Which I'm in the process of moving it to a trailer because I don't like it on the jeep. Sneak...

For a brief period I was running 235/85/16 E rated tires I picked up for a decent price. 20190530_185226 by Tim, on Flickr I have since ditched them for a slightly smaller but much smoother set of Mastercrafts 2020-02-17_02-16-04 by Tim, on Flickr

    Heres my jeep Trailer/camper

I like the concept, however have a couple concerns. Can you get it tagged as a trailer? Weight will be an issue, not just over all weight, but distribution of it because the axle is far enough back it will cause a heavy tongue weight.

    New (to me) Samurai

The Rene has been a great little vehicle. Only issues in the first 21000 miles have been minor electronic glitches, ie Sat radio cutting out and after getting a software update, the remote starts cuts off when unlocking the doors. aside from that, it's been a great little comfortable rig.

You never know how much decompression you need until you actually get it. This past weekend was some much needed time away with friends and spending time doing what we love. The area was beautiful and the weather couldn't have been better. So about 300 miles bouncing around the back roads of...
