Did a little work on my camper, insulated it, carpeted it, made a little cubby cabinet with countertop, placed my water tank, and plastered it with patches.
I also added the switch panel in the rear. I still need to add inside and outside lights, then run the power.
I used the mounts OVRLND sold me to mount my OVS Nomadic 270 awing. I added the rubber tailgate seal at the hinge points to keep water out of the camper while the doors are open.
I am just concerned about the large gap between the awning and the side of shell.
Picked up my camper before heading to my next duty station.
Added an OVS awning to the drivers side.
Added a Roadshower and OVS shower awning to the passenger side.
Added a positive pressure vent.
Did some work on my power distribution panel.
Added my shore power plug as well.
I chose the rear hatch over the barn doors because I have a swing out spare tire carrier that would be in the way.
I only went with one, but I am sure I will wished I had gone with both.
I chose the standard height based on looks alone. Another choice I will probably regret.

I have been wondering about how to secure the standard rear door as well, I also have a concern of being locked in as well, any help would be appreciated.

With a standard camper, what is the maximum mattress thickness and can you leave your beading up top when closed?
Is the extra beading height worth it?
I know my truck is not an economical giant, but 8" vs 10" may make a lot of difference.
