I love my Hennessy Hammock as well. The company is local to me (Galiano Island, BC) and I have always enjoyed watching my buddies clear rocks and roots for their ground tent while I set up my hammock in 10 minutes'
Just thought I would let you know in case you didn't already that the brit and aussie pajero forums are a wealth of information on all things Mitsu. They have been indespensible for sorting out issues with my gen 2 swb.

I have been keeping an eye out for a small, simple offroad trailer for some backcountry camping. Not doing any rock crawling but something that will hold up on the multitude of logging roads here on Vancouver Island. Thought maybe an M101 with a RTT but I am getting too old to climb a ladder to...
Have a hired hand lives in a trailer on my property. When the quake hit I saw him outside in his underwear, a baseball bat in his hand. He thought somebody was breaking into his trailer.
Awesome thread kept me up well into night. In my youth I traipsed all over the Yukon and NWT's in Dodge Power Wagons and tracked Nodwells working geophysical crews. After reading your tales I was jealous of your visits to the wrecking yards for Monty parts. Up here in BC Monty's are rare...
Actually seem a little costy to me. i imported my 94 Pajero shorty from Japan shipped to my door for just under 8 grand cnd, all in. I do like that little Jimny though.
We have livestock and use a product called Vet Wrap on our animals. It is a waterproof tape that sticks only to itself and stays in place for days. I have it in my Pajero's first aid kit at all timea. Cheap too.
We lived in Abudhabi for a number of years and travelled extensively throughout Oman. Beautiful country and wonderful people. The Musandam Peninsula was just opened up to travellers and the town of Khasab was a tiny fishing and smuggling village. Now I understand it is a major tourist...
I went postal last year. My RHD Mitsubishi Pajero took some getting used to. Now when I drive the wife's z3 I wash the windshield with the signal lights and turn with my wipers.
The Pajeros available on the JDM (Japanese domestic market) are unreal. here is my 94 intercooled turbo diesel 2.8 shorty I imported last year. 34,000 kms on the clock. Shipped to Vancouver under $8k Canadian.
Congrats on your new Paj. I have a 94 Shorty. You seem to have all in order but I would strongly suggest you give the cooling system a serious going over and flush. These are great engines but prone to cracked heads if cooling system is neglected or mods like upping fuel mixture are made. Love...
Sadly this is not mine but I came across this Unimog for sale on Vancouver Island. With the exchange rate this would be a real steal for our American friends.

If you are looking at vw syncros I would suggest instead a Mitsubishi Delica. These vehicles are very popular up here in BC. Diesel 4m40 engine. Super Select transfer case, and reliable unlike the syncro. The JDM (japanese domestic market) right hand drives can be had with very low mileage for...
