On my 2000 XJ The drivers side door won’t lock. The other doors lock and now the windows are slow going up and down.

He is in his late 20s. He has been professional and has explained fully what he has done to the Jeep. The girl is best friends with a daughter of a guy I go to church with and am in the knights of Columbus with. He swears she is very honest. She also hasn’t held anything back. Answers all questions.

My friend wasn’t able to look at the Jeep. I’m not sure what to do.

Not sure where they got the engine. The boyfriend put the motor in. Jeep has 3:55 gears, Dana 35 in the rear. Jeep does have a short arm lift. Friend of mine is meeting me there today to look at it. He’s more mechanically inclined and with 2 back surgeries not able to crawl under the truck.

I’ll probably put new gears in the Jeep. A lot of people don’t realize that bigger tires require higher gears.

Everything looks clean in the truck. Engine compartment is clean. Has a new radiator. A friend of mine who is more mechanically inclined then me is going to check the truck out tomorrow. The girls boyfriend is a mechanic and has done all the work on the Jeep.

Going to be getting a 04 F150 supercab with the 6’ 6” bed. Truck has the 5.4 engine. It’s in good shape. Dealer where we’re getting it from is doing a few little things to it so hopefully picking it up in a couple of weeks. Truck is a plain Jane even has manual windows.
