How many of us bring dutch oven along?

It seems the newer ovens are cast with a rough texture. Seasoning helps but I just cooked some things in both of mine, old and new, and amazing how much easier the old, smooth one is to clean. I really wanted to sand the bottom of the newer one.

Any longtime riders quit for good?

I’ve had much greater experiences with people on a motorcycle than vehicles. Yes, you are in the elements and have limitations on what you can bring. It made me rely upon talking to the local people more than sequestering myself in my truck. It also made me slow down and experience more. I...

    Box Rocket 1995 FZJ80 Build

I am very interested in how the bad elf works. I have a Garmin 60csx that I used when off road riding but I no longer have the bike and am looking for a bigger display, like my iPad and wondered if this works best or Garmin Glo. Are you doing any trips in the near future that you can test it...

Any longtime riders quit for good?

I have been riding since I was 5 years old and for the most part have always had a bike (or working on a bike) but I get your thoughts. I have a 4 year old daughter and riding has been very sparse lately but when she is older I can't wait to take her on the bike. That being said, we enjoy trips...

    Old's Cool

Yep. It wasn't required for many years as the bed of a truck wasn't a passenger compartment that needed a "crumple zone".

Obscuring brake / tail lights with modifications

Maybe to create an awarenesss among the community here on Expo. I see Expo style rigs quite often as they head toward the desert or MX and some fit the concern of this topic. We spend a fair amount of $ on our rigs, making them reliable for extreme conditions and as comfortable as we choose...

Show us your Toyota 4runner, tacoma or truck.

Seems you put them all to good use so better than sitting in someone's yard, garage or a boneyard. What's your plans for this one?

    Camper and Truck Photos

That's odd. The metal part is the license plate. Custom ones like this are even called a "vanity plate" in California. The stickers that go on the rear indicating month and year they are registered through are generally called "tags" (as in registration tag).

Obscuring brake / tail lights with modifications

I would agree. With all that we dial out for a trip, a few safety measures are worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Obscuring brake / tail lights with modifications

Yeah, I understand the law of hitting some one from behind. I guess I’m wondering what law mandates the driver in front has not blocked their brake lights. Unfortunately, the driver who hits from behind is immediately at fault (even when people wedge in...)

Obscuring brake / tail lights with modifications

The reason I brought it up is recently I had a expedition style truck merge into my lane. The brake light closest to me was covered by his motorcycle wheel that I didn’t see him braking as he merged into my lane (SoCal traffic). I couldn’t see the other light on the far side of his vehicle nor...
