Haha I hear ya. I haven't gotten too adventurous with mine just yet but have watched a lot of Youtube videos of guys making all kinds of stuff in it. Also, read through the Amazon reviews of the stove for lots of ideas of how people use it. The possibilities are endless.
Subscribed for tips. I don't think many people on this site use it but I use one for work. I'm a plumber and keep it in between the front seats of my van. I have only used it for reheating as well but it works great. I usually just put my lunch in small glass containers in my lunch bag in the...
I agree that the price of this truck is nuts, HOWEVER what we aren't taking into account is the craziness of the Tacoma's resale value. Yes, you will pay a lot for it up front, but you will likely end up spending less money in the long run for it than many other vehicles.
So have you already purchased the vehicle? If not, what is the asking price? I ask because unless it is dirt cheap, it's still a Dodge Neon. Your grandson would likely be better off with a 200k mile Honda Civic than a 5K mile Neon given it's age and basically being stored all that time. Cars...
Do you have any pics with the new tires? I have an Xterra with the 235/85/16 A/T3 and have been thinking about buying the wheels you have on your Frontier because I am not a fan of the wheels on my S at all.
This is a right hand drive vehicle from Japan with a turbo diesel. An engine that was never an option here. I'm not too intrigued by it either but some people definitely are. Have to admit it's super clean as well.
Also known as the strawberry milkshake of death (smod). I don't believe it was an issue at all with that gen Pathfinder. Only with the next generation with the VQ40 engine which is why you say 2005-2007. It was an issue with the same generation Xterra but isn't nearly as common as people make it...
I can't think of a worse vehicle to get a 16 year old girl in my opinion. That being said, when I was 16, I was only interested in completely impractical and unreliable vehicles as well lol. If you're stuck on an SUV, I'm not sure what kind of 4runner you can get for under 5 grand unless it is...
It looks to be a very well taken care of truck with low miles for it's age. However, for $9,500 the 2nd gen Xterra (2005+) is a huge step up in power and comfort. I realize he has a lot of money in added parts but personally, I wouldn't give that kind of money for it.
Surprisingly you can do a lot better than 19 mpg if you try. I didn't expect much more than that with mine either but I've gotten as high as 23. hovering around 20.5 right now with the recent change to the 'winter blend" and switching from the stock p rated tires to a load range E 235/85/16...
There is a special place in hell for people that do these kinds of things. My lifelong dream is to one day have the opportunity to send them there myself. Sorry to hear.
Are you going to go ahead and do the liftgate? I do think it would look better done. How much do your tires stick out past the fenders with the flares removed? Any pics of that?
I have the A/T3 in P rated 265/75/16 and they have been really great in the snow. I'm not sure if being so soft in the sidewall makes any difference or not, but since having these tires, I've already decided I'm going to stick with them when they wear out. I have close to 40k on them now and...
