Hi All
Firstly, thank you for your replies, it is proving helpful reading.
In answer to a couple of questions asked.
The tyres were manufactured 52nd week of 2012.
As a few of you have suspected, the photo is of the rear tyre.
As to tyre pressures, I contacted Toyo and they were very helpful...
If you are in the Victorian High Country over the next week and you see an Amesz coming towards you down that 4WD track, look twice you might just see more than 1!
Hi Guys
I have just completed 30,000kms on the Super single types as supplied by ATW. Tyres have been rotated every 10,000kms so each tyre has just completed 20,000kms each. The tyres have done most of their work on tar and relatively little hard off road use. I have been surprised to realise...
Hi Ski
That reminds me, I think I did read somewhere one had blown a break light fuse so this caused the engine to not start. Your reply caused me to google electric issues and there does seem to be a lot written on it.

Steve
Hi John,
Many thanks for your reply. Full of great information! Your comments have given us a bit more confidence about taking our FG up to Fraser, and other dune areas (including the Simpson and Googs). The Toyos perform well in soft sand on the flat, but we just haven't taken on the hills yet...
Hi all
Travelling around as we do, we are seeing an increasing number of Iveco Vehicles as the base for offroad campers? Eg Iveco Earthcruiser. The Iveco looks impressive and certainly confortable, but is it a serious replacement for our beloved Canters and Isuzus?
Would love to hear people's...
Hi John,
What weight do you reckon are in those buses? How do they go on the soft tracks off the beach? We are running around the 6 tonne mark. In soft sand on the flat we do ok at around 35psi, but tend to did in on the hills. We have the 19.5 Toyos. We want to be confident that we can do...
I own the stratos seats and once we got past the initial issue of installation and 2 seat rebuilds due to sub quality supplied have found them excellent. Currently my wife and I are making our way through country roads and our backs thank us for having suspension seat every day. The roads around...
Agreed everyone, that rack is expensive for what it is, but it was what was available at the time, given a set of time constraints. Would be cheaper if you could make one up yourself, but we didn't have that luxury.
Anyway I hope this help, even if only a comparison point.
Cheers ..Steve
Ok everyone, here is the invoice for my Rhino Rack, from Roof Racks Galore in Brisbane. Hope this helps identify the individual components needed. Keep in mind I have the FG649..can't say whether the same configuration works for other models.
Hey Butch,
The Pioneer Platform we have is the 928 X 1426. In Australia, the model is the 42112B. Actually on my invoice it was code RH42112B. Plus there is are specific Fuso leg kits and attachment plate kits available. If you need some codes for those parts let me know. I don't know the other...
Great setup Butch, and some fantastic pics. Thank you for sharing. You have some awesome times ahead of you and the Fuso will serve you well.
The Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform works well for us (at the moment we use it for storing our 4 x MaxxTrax). We have the platform that is designed for our...
