That thing would have been perfect. However I already bought and installed a Bulldog. I think I am going to go with the Croft trailer option.
Thanks for the reply. I will remember the XO next time around.
As the title suggests, I am looking for ideas and options on a new wheel for my trailer jack.
I have an M101A3 trailer and it has a bulldog trailer jack with a wheel that works great on paved surfaces. However when I push the trailer across my lawn, the wheel digs into the grass. I have tried...
Selling the rails and bows that came with my M101A3 trailer. I never used them as the trailer came with a truck cap on it. I can only speculate that they are complete. Everything is very structurally sound. Light surface rust is on a few of the steel pieces and they are marred up from being...
Hi, I am putting the finishing touches on my RTT mount on my M101A3. I have a specific question I need answered before I can deploy the tent:
When the tent is unfolded/deployed, does it go past horizontal? I ask because if you look at my pics, you can see where the mounting bars extend past the...
My M101 A2/A3trailer came with the fiberglass green gates, the rubberized camo canvas top, and the supporting bows. I have no intention of ever using them as I have a customized pick-up truck bed on the trailer to provide protection from the elements and security.
Can someone point me to the...
Speaking as a guy who just drove a soft top 4 door JK with soft upper doors, from Detroit to Utah. I could not agree with the above statement more!
What a PITA to remove all the gear, only to put it all back in 7 hours.
First off, I would go with a Max Coupler or something along those lines. remove the coupler after you park and the lack of tongue attachment would slow down someone from stealing the entire trailer.
As far as electronic security, I think you are on the right track, but you are waaaay overpaying...
Thanks Martyinco. It would seem that my best avenue is to get the tent first and go from there. I am talking to three different tent sellers online at this time. I should have one soon.
Thanks for the pic and the reply.
Part of my problem is that I have never mounted a RTT before. Never really saw one in real life either. I guess at this point, I should probably get the tent, then see what I am dealing with.
Thanks for the reply tarditi.
Correct me if I am wrong here, but don't most roof top tents require bars to mount on? Or can most RTT's simply bolt directly to my roof? My cap has a very sturdy 1"x1" internal aluminum frame that I might be able to mount directly to using "U" bolts from the...
I have a M101A3 with a Pick-up truck cap on it. I am looking to put cross bars/ roof bars on it to mount a RTT to. I do not need some fancy gutter type of mount designed not to damage a car roof. I would like some sort of bracket(s) that I can bolt right to the roof itself, and then put pipe...
Long time lurker here.
I recently bought an M101A3. Interestingly enough, previously owned by two different E.P. members. I am the third owner since it left the military base. Unlike most A3's this does not have the flared fenders. I assure you that it is an A3 though, because the axle had the...
