ARB Summit bar does fit the 2010-2013 LR4!

They will fit on the LR3 but they’re not the same. The lights and grille are shaped a bit different the fenders are also trimmed to accommodate the different shaped headlights. The summit bar may fit with the LR3 front end but I’m not 100% sure about the fitment around the lights and grille.

Not unless you change the lights, grille, and fenders.

    Land Rover ideas for Jeeps

Land Rovers always have better payload than jeeps. Like almost as much as some 3/4 ton trucks. The New Defender for example has almost 2,000lbs of payload. It can also have 330lbs of tongue weight for a trailer without touching the payload capacity. They generally handle better as well.

It’s probably not terrible. You could also regear it if you wanted to. My guess is it will probably keep up with or pass a stock 2005-09 RRS supercharged.

    LR3 brake light question

IIRC my upper bulbs are just regular old 1157’s. I can’t remember if the bottoms are the same or not.

    LR3 brake light question

I’ve used regular old auto parts store bulbs for the last 7 or 8 years my truck doesn’t care. I haven’t had to change them Since I put them in. No faults they’ve worked just fine. My harnesses were another story they started going around 90k and were junk by 100k.

    LR3 brake light question

Pull the light housing loose from the vehicle, then pull the offending bulb holder out of it’s socket in the light housing. Now activate the bulb, if the is not lighting up wiggle it and see if it does, if it lights up with you wiggling it the problem is your taillight harness. Each light has...

You aren’t actually losing travel with lift rods, you basically end up trading droop for up travel. Though I suppose if the tire won’t tuck into the fender well fully you could lose some travel that way. The biggest reason they don’t flex great with lift rods is due to the bags getting...

From what Lucky8 has said they do. As far as I know it’s tuff ant alloy wheels and a 2” rod lift. I’m not sure if they did any trimming or not you would have to ask them.

I still can’t decide how I feel about the thing. I think it looks decent enough but the fact it’s essentially a knock off Defender/Gwagon It kinda rubs me the wrong way. I also think the specs sound great I just can’t seem to get over the Chinese knock off vibe.

Yeah probably so. It honestly surprised me a lot we’ve towed about that same weight with our 6.0L V8 powered GMC 3/4 ton up the same grade at half the altitude and it didn’t do near as well. The Ike Gauntlet is over 11,000ft at the end.
