If you’re a good enough bush mechanic you can fix literally anything with a Swiss Army knife, duct tape, and zip ties. Modern vehicles included. Older vehicles are definitely easier though.
More capable in only sheer off road capability it’s been a minute since I watched that video but I’m almost positive the Jeep was worse in all of the other categories as a overland vehicle.
Just saw one in person. I’m sold on the looks. The square on the side isn’t near as bad in person. I actually kinda like it. The headlights are pretty neat as well.
IDK because they’ve never made a vehicle with front and rear lockers or with a sway bar disconnect (with solid axles). The old Defender only had a center locking diff and the later ones had a form of basic traction control. ASPW even said the Jeep JK Rubicon was better than the old Defender off...
In hard core off road situation that requires lots of flex and front and rear lockers the Jeep will noticeably better than the Defender plain and simple. The Defender however will more than likely excel in all other scenarios.
