Yessir, 8 bolts. In the pic a few posts above that is looking at the rear of the freshly painted trailer, you can see each corner has "feet" that bolt to both the side and the back (or front) of the tub and in the most recent pic you can see the bolt holes just under the lip.

Those are the ones that are the right height for a stock trailer.

Got it painted, and have begun reassembly. Touched up the fenders and the rack too.

Well new Jeep calls for new paint. Pulled the tent down, pulled the rack off, pulled the tub off the frame. Replaced the original shocks with new ones from Napa. Got it all ready for primer and paint. Will be doing some other touch up work too.

Also started working on a tool kit for this, and other vehicles. I decided I wanted something "cheap enough to not care" about, but also "quality enough to not worry about". After searching various tool kits and options, I landed on the standard line of Pittsburgh tools at HF. Not what I would...

Well, went topless for the first time in 11 years this weekend. Sold my TJ in 2008, finally have the opportunity to do it again! The wife doesnt care for convertibles and was a little apprehensive at first, but she enjoyed it.

Well, ordered the ROAM yesterday, they ended up being a few hunnert less than the LOD, but they are backordered for about a month. Will post up when I get them installed.

Thanks for the review! Thats all good to know. On Friday, she ripped her skirt getting into the jeep and nearly lost a shoe, haha. After searching and looking at more options, I've got her pretty well sold on the ROAM rock sliders. Frame mounted, a lower step without actually making anything...

    Marn's 2019 JLU - Boring Build

I showed her the LOD, ROAM, some Rugged Ridge, the typical Smittybilt tube style, etc. She liked these Rugged Ridge, and I like how they cover the crappy pinch weld, provide a step, AND provide some body coverage.

Well, as mentioned my wife is daily driving it. So, aside from already having asked for "stronger bumpers that are made out of metal" she has now asked for some form of step to help get out, without having to slide across the seat and up over the edge/lip of the seat. She made it clear she...

1973 Wagoneer - Full Size Camping Goodness

Yup! Pretty much all of that. The Wag has been great, and obviously has given us so many great experiences, but as I mentioned above the people who don't drive it really don't understand the cost, or toll involved in that. We find old vehicles attracxtive because they look neat and arent seen...

    Marn's 2019 JLU - Boring Build

So the only stuff that has been done so far is basic outfitting. I got a better pouch for my first aid kit that breaks away from the MOLLE panel, and I mounted it to the factory rear panel. I don’t really plan to put anything else on that panel and definitely not anything heavy, but this worked...

    Marn's 2019 JLU - Boring Build

So, we got the new jeep, wheeled a little on our way home, and then the wife started driving it to work. One week later, we packed our crap, hooked up the trailer, and headed off to the northern end of the Sierras. We went out into Plumas National Forest, and found a spot to camp off grid. The...

    Marn's 2019 JLU - Boring Build

Well, folks. It was bound to happen. After 9 years and 30,000 miles with the 1973 Wagoneer, my wife and I have upgraded. There were a lot of reasons for this, of which the largest was that it was time for my wife to get a new more Reno appropriate daily driver. That coupled with the fact that...
