Well, its that time of year. Pulled the tarp off the tent, emptied out the trailer, cleaned out the leaves and stuff, checked and re-packed all gear, put the battery on the charger, put the new sleeping bag in the tent, etc etc. Hoping for a trip this weekend.

I've been farting around with this thing lately, its so easy and cheap to work on. And it actually doesn't really require any work! Its weird. It's old, and its a truck, but I can just get in and drive it.

I really ought to ditch my AC too. Its all there, its all connected, but it doesnt work. The dang under dash unit has been falling and breaking more and more over time as well, I currently have it propped up with a section of 2x6 haha. When I lived in Vegas it was always a "one day" project...

They are just RV jacks, i dont know if this is the right length for your application, nor do i know if this is the length I bought, but they come in several lengths and weight ratings...

I was actually just logged in over there today for the first time in ages. So much is changed and worse. I basically posted a few epic pics in my build thread and said "signing off". I was so active on there and have made some serious friends for life, met many people from across the country...

I lube mine, bushings are newer and i greased them when installed, and made sure they can move in the shackle. I guess i could go back and lube em up again though. I believe my shackle angles are aite in the front and rear, not vertical.

This is still a thing?

Pretty much only 1 or 2 options for lifting a pre-74 because we have external post mount springs. So, short of custom work, I dont think theres anything that will ride nice. And my hooptie isn't worth custom springs. I'm just going to go with better shocks and home for some minor improvement.
