Gore Rang in the background.
Big changes coming to the Tundra! 14" Solo long travel and rear full float, rear disc, Diamond Axle to match front track width.
Tighter than it looks driving this tank!
Mcallister Gulch from Camp Hale into Redcliff.
Summit of Resolution Mountain. We ski off this peak a lot in winter. Waz cool to drive up it. The views are spectacular in any season!
Summer wheeling and campering fun. Transitioning to fall out here in Colorado. Just took the camper off tonight for the season. Always makes me a little sad when that happens :(
A quick cruise up Hardscrabble Mt. Red Table in the distance.
Biking and camping in Fruita.
Lead King Basin...
This is an established campsite with a track from main road, fire ring, etc. No, it’s not a state park or a forest service campground, but I thought that’s what expo is about. If the group wants the picture removed that’s fine. No big deal.
Me and a buddy did a quick weekend trip into Lead King Basin. A fun loop, starting and ending in Marble, with incredible Colorado scenery. Edit: picture changed as to not upset people.
If it helps, I have a set of 06’ doublecab spindles sitting in my garage you can have to experiment on. You would just need to pay the shipping from Colorado.
We carry a 4wheel camper in the truck about half the year so I’ve been debating for years about taking out the sway bar but then I saw your build thread with the info on the quick disconnects and decided to give them a try. They just arrived yesterday. Curious, why did you decide to go without...
Nice install. I also went with the Solo Motorsports spindles, lower uniball, and heim steering. Good call on having Solo modify the LCA. After my original install I had issues with the lower uniball bolts repeatedly loosening up, and it was because the shop I had do the install incorrectly...
Here's some pics of my amateur install. Driver side....
Passenger side. Much harder to access the top bolt on the shock and had to run the reservoir under the bed to keep it far away from the exhaust system....
I'm liking the boots! Our winters can be long and brutal in Colorado and CDOT...
I tried the Fox 2.0 and they lasted almost a year then the driver side started leaking pretty bad. I was not impressed with the ride or the longevity.
I do carry a Four Wheel Camper around for half of the year. I have the Wheeler's AAL and Firestone airbags. I'm trying these Toyotec rear...
Nice! We have almost the same setup. My camper is an Eagle. I went with airbags and enjoy the adjustability.
Enjoy the the new combo, it'll get you just about anywhere you want to go I'm sure.
Looking great! I have a question about your rear airbag setup. Are you going to use the airbags as the rear bump stop or install something else?
I have a rear airbag setup on my 06 Tundra for our FWC, but the they are installed on the leaf spring forward of the axle. I've always wanted to...
Thanks for the input on the custom alignment. I'll have to look into that. My wife and I are teachers so we take advantage our off time as much as possible. I'm not that young, and my daughter is a junior in high school. My fantasy is to keep building up the truck and when we are empty...
I just had CODE in Rifle install my e-locker. They were easy to work with. In the front range I would look at Slee in Golden or Front Range Off-Road Fabrication in Ft. Collins.
