How does truck do with camper? How about with camper and towing the sleds? Do you ever wish for more truck? More engine? My daughter is too big for the Dodge Dakota extra cab, and with our Eagle camper the 4 door Tacoma is an obvious next choice for us.
^^
Yeah for sure Brett, but that is what makes TGR so much fun. Have fun at Opus. I bet there is a good corn harvest going right now. Looks like some snow coming for the end of the weekend, hopefully you wake up to at least one powder morning.
Funny Co-opski, but your mountains are bigger...
So, I barely used the truck, but the trip would not have worked without it. With that said, I figured I'd add the TR for no other reason then shameless self promotion......from a dad's point-of-view. I must admit though, it was cool to see the same zones in the winter compared to the summer...
This is a cool thread. I like the rear bumper and the wrap around armor. Dakotas are sweet trucks, just to bad there are no suspension options for us. Or do what Nick did with his beast! :Wow1:
No way the water tank is empty. When this first happened, that's what I thought. But when I got home I pretty much filled a 5 gallon water bucket from the tank drain valve on the outside of the camper. That was when I knew something was not right. Not even the hand pump will work when in the...
Excellent. Thanks you guys! I think the easiest would be to move the pump up the wall (easiest = within my skill level). I think I will try that first, then look into the other suggestions if I don't see an improvement. I love this forum.
I have an 08' FWC Eagle. It has the standard 12 gallon non-pressureized water tank. The issue I'm having is that the pump works fine when the tank is full, and half full. However, when there is only about 1/3 water remaining (anywhere from 4 gallons and less), the water pump stops working...
Thanks everybody! But this I had to quote....
Everybody, and I mean everybody, was pulling fish out of that lake. We did not catch one! I take full responsibility because I have never really been into fishing and clearly I don't know how to catch fish. My daughter loves it so we are...

Just another amazing Colorado camping spot.
We finished off with another night in Telluride.
Then took the pavement back to Eagle via I-70. An awesome trip with the family. The most dangerous part was on route 50 near Delta, when a U-Haul towing a car tried to pass...

Finished off Cinnamon Pass the next day.
Beautiful!
Not a bad place to have house, 4x4 required!
Animas Forks, where mountain passes and wildlife converge.
After a short break and burgers and beers in Silverton, we headed to Ophir Pass.
The town of...
The family and I loaded up the truck and headed south to the San Juans for a couple of days. Our goal was to drive a few mountain passes, camp and hike two 14ers. We left Eagle heading west to Glenwood Springs then south for Kebler Pass.
Then Ohio Pass.
After passing through Gunnison and...
