Looking for progressive rate springs for a JKU

I have theirs (3.5") and am loving them. Had them 18 months or so now.

    Portable Winch question

Not to mention if you get stuck without it already on, you then have to deal with trying to get it on before you can start getting out. If you're wheeling with it already on, you have to deal with having something stick out an extra foot in front of the jeep.

How to pack up a JKU for camping?

Perhaps a home built shelf in the very back? Will let you stack stuff and access stuff easier without unpacking everything. Add in a couple mesh nets along the roof (rear/cargo area), and you should have a bunch of space as long as you're careful with what you bring and where you stash it.

JK tire carriers- Tera-flex vs AEV?

Just as an FYI for that Titan Tank. In talking to morryde about whether more then the hinges was recommended, this is what they had to say: Hey Septu I talked to our engineer. Tailgate re-enforcement would definitely be needed with the Titan tank you were referring to. That's a lot of...

JK tire carriers- Tera-flex vs AEV?

THANK YOU! I was never aware of these guys. I've been rocking morryde's hinges and have wanted an AUX tank, but wasn't quite sold on going with the AEV setup due to the cost. But this... this is pretty close to what I wanted. I always assumed I'd either have to figure something out or go with...

Making a JKU fun in the Highway (speed) parts of an Expedition?

If you're not getting those comped or wheeling it like crazy where you really need that extra couple inches of flex... I really question whether those shocks are worth it.

Making a JKU fun in the Highway (speed) parts of an Expedition?

I'm running an MC lift as well (just different shocks, and have only replaced the Front U/L arms), and it doesn't bother me. Highway speeds up here are 100/60, and I'm good with that. I can, and have gone a lot faster, but considering the distances I have to travel if I'm on a road trip (next...

Jeep Africa, Will it Come to be?

Absolutely they would be. BUT it would still be closer to many on here want. All depends on how involved the modifications get...

Jeep Africa, Will it Come to be?

Sorry bud, but you're doing it wrong. I frequently run a rear cover that's raised 5+ inches that the ST will sit on when down, and I still never have had an issue getting my soft top to lay down flat enough to see out the rear. And when I'm not running that, it's hardly noticeable back there...

Jeep Africa, Will it Come to be?

I could care less if "everyone" would have it. Would that bother me? No not in the least. Because I would have it for my own personal reasons - which would have nothing to do with anyone else. I've built my jeep the way I like it, and would do the same if I had one of those.

    Lateral movement while camped

AK Cowboy, that was my initial plan. Still might happen. Please.

    Lateral movement while camped

I wouldn't want to add rear feet that are permanent - was thinking detachable jacks that I could clip on. However this looks like an even cheaper and just as effective solution.

    Lateral movement while camped

I think because any side to side movement in the old tent would have been front to back on the trailer. There probably was some movement on the trailer when getting in/out, but as the tent itself always moved a bit, I might have just wrote it off. I'll start with getting jacks on each of the...

    Lateral movement while camped

So something that has been an issue the last two years since modifying my trailer from it's initial setup to how it is now, is a lot of annoying lateral movement. When I roll over, the whole trailer moves. At 235 I'm not skinny... but this is still annoying. This change only became an issue when...

    Trailer Security Questions?

I've yet to take the time to lock my m101 to my jeep. Stupid or lucky I'm not sure... but that hasn't been an issue for me (although it's really something I should do). My hitch has a locking pin and my teardrop has locks on the lock-n-roll coupler. If I'm in a major center or traveling where I...

What do you carry in your M416/ trailers?

Oh, if it's a m416/m101, these totes will fit width wise across the trailer. They're great.

What do you carry in your M416/ trailers?

Anything you do not want wet/dirty should stay in the tow vehicle. My trailer isn't water proof, and while I've never actually had water in it (just a lot of dust) I'd never keep anything I need to be comfortable in there. This wouldn't change even if I had a really good seal that kept most/all...

What do you carry in your M416/ trailers?

What I carry... - Full size spare tire - camping/cooking gear. Stove and fuel, tarps and poles, - 11 gal water - fire wood - camp chairs - zodi shower setup - big socket set That weighs in around 1350 lbs. The fridge and food stay in my jeep. That stuff is in there all the time (water...

I really wished I could buy gullwings waith a box to my JK unlimited

I would suspect that with the lack of depth behind the window due to the rollbar, most companies do not see the value in designing, then manufacturing a product that will then retail for $400+ (at least) for such a small area of useable space. Now if you'd redesigned your roll cage (like Grecy...
