Thanks, that looks pretty good. I'm not clear on the maps though. Does it come with the 24K maps, or do you need to buy them for each state? If so, how much do they run?

I dont need turn by turn, will it work with a gps puck? So for $40 for the GPS Puck, and another $50 per state for the nat geo TOPO, that would be all I need?

I'm looking to use a usb gps puck with my laptop for topo maps. I've read through a lot of threads trying to find a definitive list of what softwares will work. Maybe we can have it all it one thread. What do you use?

Most cars are I think 20 gauge, plus they have the compound curves stiffen them. Considering aluminum is softer, I wouldnt want to go any thinner. Also, see whats available in the sizes you need. For me, I needed some 5ft x 10ft sheets. Heres a shot of the frame with the aluminum on it.

I have a '93, for a long time I worried about the trans. The A518 is based on the 727 but with an OD. 275k miles and still going, I do wish it had lockup though.

I'm using .063 on mine. Steel frame with alu skin. I wouldnt go much thinner than that.

pretty sure most guys are staying away from K&N's or any filter like it and going with the BHAF (Big Honkin Air Filter) paper filters. I dont think it will fit in the stock box though. Do a search for them on one of the cummins forums.
