Had to bring the JKU back to brake shop after 1K miles on the new pads/rotors/hardware. Had all 4 calipers rebuilt, new pads all around, and parking brake adjustment. Aaargh.......really, only 27K miles before a major brake job?????

That Mopar XJ was a "concept" type vehicle built for showing off Mopar products. The problem with that is the "concept" doesn't always go into production. Warrior makes 4 door XJ tube doors (84-96), as will your local fabricator.

Never needed to replace one. Seven years on the first jeep (this was a trail jeep and garaged when not in use), and so far 3 years on the current jeep (daily driver and trail rig, also garaged when not in use). My current line is faded but is no worse for wear. Had to winch up 3 winch hills...

Had to add the roof rack for a weekend camping trip with 2/3 of kids and the dog.

Have been running synthetic for the last 10 years on 2 different Jeeps. Won't go back to cable, safer if it breaks (although we've never broken one), can be handled with bare hands, lighter than cable, and can be repaired on the trail if it does break.

I have them all the way around. Needed to lift the rear right corner of the Jeep, sagged in that corner due to the gas tank and rear tire carrier. Cranked them up 2" all the way around. I have a total of 6.5" of lift.

Are you still running stock axles and shafts with the 5.7?
