    Bundutec Hardside Campers BunduVry?

I underwent a long search and could not find anything to fit my needs...then I stumbled across Bundutec. They worked with me to create the "perfect" custom camper for us, one they have added to their line and have dubbed the Riptide. I am so happy with our camper. I believe it it one of the...

Low-profile hard-side truck campers without cabovers

They call it the "Riptide" model. Mine was a little under $8K but it will depend on how you want them to build it out. In addition to complete customization, they offer a number of options for each appliance (ie - a variety of different water heaters, furnaces, windows, etc...)

Low-profile hard-side truck campers without cabovers

www.bundutecusa.com they made a totally custom camper for me that is exactly what you are describing. The cabover portion is 10" above the cab and extends 36" forward of the bed but they will be happy to build whatever you want. I have hot/cold pressure water with outside shower, heat...

Did that, cleaned them til they were shiny. Ensured good connections. Thought that cured it but then it happened again, about a month later.

    Electrical / Starting Issue

Thanks Alan. The battery is new and a recent tune-up (2000mi ago). I agree (and hope) it is something simple. I have heard that this is a fairly common problem to Toyotas. Although this is my 1st LC, it is my 4th Toyota truck/SUV and I've not experienced this in the past. Appreciate the...

Considering a Land Cruiser, have a few questions.

Just this past December I was looking for a 4 runner or Tacoma when I ran across a cherry 1999 LC. One owner, stock, babied pavement princess with less than 100K miles. I paid $15K which was less than any 4runner or Tacoma in comparable condition with similar mileage I could find. I just...

    Electrical / Starting Issue

I recently purchased my first Land Cruiser. One owner, babied, pavement princess, stock, 1999 w/ less than 100K miles. WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG? I absolutely love it! I have just started experiencing an infrequent & intermittent problem when I turn the ignition to start the car, nothing...

    Customized hard-side camper examples

About 5'. Since we are not "living" in the space, sitting headroom was the priority along with as low of an overall profile as possible. I would also like to reiterate the the wet weight is 950lbs.

    What does "Light Weight" mean?/

Thanks, it is. And no, we sleep on the fold out bench. Some of our boards are over 6' so the cab over was initially built so we would have the option to carry the boards on the inside for day trips. As it turns out it is also perfect for bedding, our folding table, camper jacks if we take them...

    What does "Light Weight" mean?/

Faced with a similar scenario I found what I think is a decent compromise and have been extremely satisfied. With a payload of only 1250ish lbs (Tacoma DCLB stock) and a limited budget we ran into several dead ends every time I thought I found the "perfect rig". I figured most of our "living"...

    Aluminum flat bed options?

There are several outfits that build campers for flatbeds. They all have their plus' and minus'. I recently spent a lot of time researching the different companies and decided to go with Bundutec in Iowa. Absolutely no regrets. I believe they provide the best value. They are great to work with...

New Manufacturer: Cave Campers - 750 lbs, $<10k, high quality

They say they have set up manufacturing here in the states and now offer a flatbed model as well as other choices/options. Impressive build quality but way to much $$ for my budget. That is why I went with Bundutec.

I too am in Washington. My understanding is you only need to register if you are manufacturing for sale. Mine is very similar and I have never registered it. I treat it as a shell.
