There IS a cooling system. There’s also a battery management system, a charging system, high voltage wiring, 4 motors (and 4 single speed transfer cases), etc. It’s conceptually simpler than ICE, but there is plenty to maintain. FWIW I have an R1S order.

First pass at my own soft shackle. 3/8” dyneema, with an 8” diameter. I intended to make two 4” shackles but I was short about 2’ of rope due to underestimating how much was needed for the knot and end splice.

Thanks for the explanation, I knew there was more to it. My ARB half rack is 63lbs, that eats up a lot of the roof loading, so I can understand wanting to limit rack weight. I’m fabricating my own mounts for it to connect to the OEM rails so as to keep it as tight as possible.
