Okay so RTT's who's got one?

I only have experience with the Howling Moon, Eazi-awn and Technitop, but Technitop is my fave. It's a clamshell and you don't have to put the extra cover on it if you don't want to. Pros Really easy set up Moon roof (on the newer model) Clam shell that keeps out all of the dust while driving...

    Mountain Khaki Pants

True enough, but I'd like to be able to fit some other clothes in there too. Somehow saying "the portion of the pant located at the top of the inseam" is a bit confusing. Everybody's got their preferences, for my part I agree with you, I prefer synthetic for overland trips, and all of...

    Mountain Khaki Pants

Graham loves his MKs, the only complaint I have is if we are going on a long trip and I might have to wash them by hand. They are really tough to wash by hand and take a while to line dry. I realize this is not generally a consideration when choosing what pants to buy.

Nice to see you here Paratrupp. I enjoyed seeing your rig at last years Overland Expo.

gt50- Why are you using two different phone numbers in two different threads offering to buy stuff? Looks fishy, but I'm giving you the opportunity to clear it up.

    Low Swiss Crime Rates

Somebody that did get it, told me it must be the blond in me. :D I could delete the post and the evidence that sometimes I'm just a great big dweeb, but I'd still know.:o

    Low Swiss Crime Rates

Hmm, yes possibly I've been a bit too quick to react. It has been hard to judge when the political envelope is being intentionally pushed. It is also possible that my hostility has carried over from reading a certain vehicle specific section.;) I am sorry that I did not catch the joke, and...

Dunes vehicles pollute air, study says

I've never understood where burning couches (or shooting them, I see that next to trails sometimes too) gets fun. Plus you've got to haul them out there.

    Fridge fitting dilemma in tacoma

We have the Waco 25 for our Range Rover, we chose it because space is an issue. It's pretty slim, if it were mounted at the foot end of the sleeping area, you might not notice it much. It holds a lot even though it is one of the smaller fridges. I like that set up 6string, nicely laid out.

    Low Swiss Crime Rates

teotwaki- you are out of line. Ed's post was very polite, if you are going to get a massive wedgie over it, that is your choice. And by the way, the only reason I even looked at this thread is because you reported a post. A dissenting opinion is not against Expo rules.

    Impressions of the AT Teardrop

If the wind hadn't kept changing direction every 2 seconds on the beach, we could have parked it into the wind and been fairly protected. The night that we had the worst wind (so bad that it flattened a tent, and Troy and Travis tied theirs to the Jeep) was after our u-joint went, so Mike was...

    Impressions of the AT Teardrop

I thought it would be hard to back, as I am used to a 20ft box trailer, but it was MUCH better than any other small trailer I have driven with. I have heard that the production version has a thicker mattress...?? That's crazy because there is no way that it could be any more comfy. I agree...

    Overland Training Alumni Baja Adventure

Graham and I finally got back last night. I had a great time (and no Chris I didn't suffer from testosterone poisoning :sombrero:) I probably would have preferred it if there had been a few more girls along, but I rarely thought about it actually. A fine group of gentlemen! On a side note...
