    Utensil set/roll?

4stfire :-), Retired Fire Service I really like the SolGear stuff. They have a larger unit for big groups and I was impressed with the quality.

    Utensil set/roll?

Mesh Utensil Roll Very nice. I've looked at the others above found via Google searches too, but your link to Cooke shows a rather nice and well priced setup. Something similar, from a great company, that is made of a strong mesh fabric and allows for quick drying of washed utensils too...

The camp cot thread; what's good, what's bad ...

Missed the March Death Valley trip. :(. If there is space to join, and the dates work, I have an extra Byer Easy Cot with a 3.5" self inflating pad (super comfy) available for use.:sombrero:

An Oztent to complement my Kamper, maybe even replace the RTT

I was faced with the same decision. For the minor variation in cost and packed size I opted for the RV5. Glad I did. The additional 8" is worth it. I'm not certain but I don't think the RV4 has the additional stake outs on the back wall, its last wall pitch being steeper to the ground than the...

An Oztent to complement my Kamper, maybe even replace the RTT

Took the RV5 on my maiden voyage and was the envy of my peers. All around as expected. Fast and easy set up and ample room for the Byer Easy Cots I am using. I only set up one as I was running solo this weekend. I placed it close to one side and the fit was tight but easily doable. If there was...

An Oztent to complement my Kamper, maybe even replace the RTT

RV5 arrived today as well from Family Tent Camping. +1 on their awesome service. The stated dimensions of the packed RV5 are spot on at 6'6". I was actually hoping they were being conservative. The RV5 is about 1 inch too long packed to fit straight in lengthwise in the back of my Dodge...

An Oztent to complement my Kamper, maybe even replace the RTT

Thanks for the insight Romer! Not having the cots touch the walls is important to help keep things drier. Leaning towards the RV4 if space works favoring the slight weight savings and slightly smaller footprint. I'll have to check bullies review better. Didn't see any pics of cot use there.

An Oztent to complement my Kamper, maybe even replace the RTT

I'm in the final stages of order this week and am wavering between the RV4 and RV5. I really only plan to sleep two on Byer cots running front to back. Anyone have input on whether there is much of a reason to go with the RV5 for this setup, or likewise a reason to choose the RV4? Appreciate any...

How to build a quality awning for less than $100

Great thread!!! Thanks Dave. I just built my awning up today. Am trying it with the 6' side on the rack and the 8' side out. At this extension the Wally World tent poles bow a little as the extension is nearing max. But that could just be the buzz making it look that way. Haven't decided how...

All Underwear is Not Created Equal!

The poll has it right. ExO is the best stuff. Tried Patagonia, cotton (who hasn't) Duluth Trading Co., silk, and REI and none are as comfortable or durable as ExO.
