Drove from Houston to Austin...still love the way this rides. I got surprisingly good mpg since I did the whole time up, valve covers deal. The coolant leak seems to have disappeared, but I'm not convinced, I will keep an eye on the coolant and reservoir daily.

I out the dye and o can see the coolant dripping under and coming from somewhere above the alternator, I checked all the hoses on the intake, they are still all good, I have a automotive camera from HF, I will give it a try when I get home if it's not raining.

Hell no! Lol man you know what it is not a bad as I remembered, I removed the radiator and fan to make things a lot easier, but then I checked again today and there's still a small leak, so I'm leaning towards the radiator hoses or worse case scenario water pump... Damn it!

Leak and all old rubber hoses are gone, I found a few that could have been leaking. Also new tune up and valve cover gaskets, this time I added gasket maker dabs to every bolt hole on the gasket and helped tremendously to hold it in place and put some gasket maker on top and bottom of the spark...

Yes I've done that before with no issues on other cars, on a.pinch even radiator hoses that leak right at the end of the nipple in the middle of nowhere just cutting and stretching the hose is a life saver that eventually I forgot to "do it right" in one of my past vehicles and went and ran...

Well I'm tackling this weird leak tomorrow. All rubber hoses related to vacuum and coolant will be replaced, but that is the easy part, I will be doing my valve guide stem seals along with tune up, etc. I need to get my vehicle ready for a couple of trips to Austin and what not

Looks great man! Damn I'm about to do the valve guide stem seals, full tune up, radiator (cheap AutoZone until I save for the aluminum 3core), and replace all the vacuum and coolant hoses, I wish I had time for upgrading interior...

I literally just saw this same leak in my Monty, I'll take a closer look tomorrow.

That's way more progress than I have had in the past couple of years, I just started daily driving mine again due to my f-2fiddy crapping out on me two weeks ago. Keep the pictures coming man!

Man great progress and that is weird on the single bleeding point for the rear drums, my 94 F-350 dually had a bleeder on each side.

So not for the... faint of heart, but damn does it look good!!!

Here in Houston (North side) the Mitsubishi dealer closed a while back, I was able to obtain the parts I needed for the timing belt change etc, no problem now is not there anymore. I've been thinking about small stuff and can see now that I can make a bunch of random parts or that learning...
