If you do decide to start making these let me know...SERIOUSLY!!
You'll have to start figuring out pricing because I'm sure you'll get a lot of inquiries about making them.
You may have just started a money making business.
Very very very nice!!

What is the best and easiest way to get brighter headlights? Do I have to replace the whole housing or just the bulb?
Then whether it's one or the other what would be the "best" route to go as far as the replacement item?
My Taco is a daily driver with the occasional trip off road. My home is...
After your guys' input, and further research, things are starting to make sense. I think the P metric will probably be my best bet. Mostly on road with only a couple of times a year off road. The sidewalls I ASSUME will hold up as long as I am trail smart and careful.
Thanks to everyone for your...
The guy from the tire place said the P Metric are a 4 ply tire and the LTs are either a 6 ply or a 10 ply.
I can get a great deal on the Revos in the P Metric otherwise I have to change to the Hercules Terra Trac ATs in the LT. I can get these for $250 or so less than LT Revos. P Metric Revos...
This may not be the right forum spot for this question but I figure someone will know the answer.
Here I was all ready to buy new tires and the guy at the tire shop said I should go with P Metric not LT for my 265/75/16 tire choice. Why??
Basically I guess it boils down to cost - LT is more...
If you can find a reasonable trade do it. The reliability of the Taco will far exceed the GMC. I was always a Chevy guy then I bought my first Toyota - with 125,000 miles yes 125,000 on the odometer (traded a tired and gas guzzzling Suburban). I traded the Toyota in at 175,000 miles for a new...
Ok I am still a newbie here but I went through the same situation not too long ago before deciding and buying my Taco.
SUV or P/U??? I was stuck between the Nissan Xterra (06 Off Road) and the Taco Double Cab (03 or 04 TRD). Believe it not prices weren't too far off eachother.
After l thought...
Just FYI. I searched AutoTrader.com and found a bunch of 03 and 04 Tacos, DC, 4wd, some TRD some not. The most expensive was $26,995 and down from there.
I'm sure you've looked there already but if not check it out.
Happy hunting.
One thing I forgot to mention is that with my DC I am getting 18.5 mpg/city - I haven't even had it on the highway long enough to get a true reading. It looks like everyone is in agreement that the DC is the way for you to go.
As far as room on the inside the cab area I am 6'1" and a svelt 265...
I will put my 2 cents in here - especially since I just went through your situation. Stick with the DC. I have had an ext cab (Silverado) and you cannot believe the convience factor of the 2 extra regular doors over the reverse doors on the Chevy.
I searched on the internet up to 500 miles from...

First of all I want to Thank you guys for answering my questions. Again I have been checking various sites with this one being the best on user information and the most friendly. It's greatly appreciated.
Now for my plans:
Again just some trail running in the mountains, hunting, and...

Does the kit Valkarie have the rear leafs with the OME kits?? If not then should I stick with Dever? Also what is a site to contact Valkarie?
Like I said this is all new and like everyone else knows I don't have the $$ to throw away.
I've liked the fact that Donahoe and OME...
OK still the new guy questions with me. I have purchased my 03 Taco DC with the TRD.
My plans are to install 265/75/16 Hercules Terra Trac ATs and some sort of suspension mod.
I see a lot of guys here use the Donahoe/Dever set up. I have seen on other sites the mention of OME and Tundra options...
Thanks
Thanks for the response. I know the "new guy" routine gets old for those of you who have done this for a while.
I think keeping things close to stock is a good idea.
Does anyone know what I can fit under a stock Taco. Again it's a 2004 with the TRD package. I'd like to go as big as...
I am getting ready to purchase a 2004 Taco Double Cab with the TRD package. I am looking to slowly upgrade my truck. It will be used 90% of the time as a daily driver. The rest of the time would be little adventures to Colorado and the likes. No "heavy duty" wheeling such as rock crawling or...
