Off-Road trailer with full kitchen system

It's a nice setup, but it takes up too much space.

Pikemans M101 A2 slow Expo/ Base camp trailer build.

Not thrashing, rather it was constructive criticism. There's a difference. He had a design problem that needed to be pointed out and those who said so also pointed to a possible solution. This forum wouldn't be much good if all we did was cheer on the sidelines while someone designs in a weakness.

    Another Trailer build

They haven't said that at all, re-read their posts. Your frame may be salvageable by running the tongue under the frame. See the picture Bob mentioned in his last post.

    Springbar: Made in America?

I am gratified to know that Springbar uses only the best quality cotton, and importing the material from Australia is fine with me, as long as they don't import from China. I am aware of many tents that are either made in China or use material imported from China. One reason why I'm considering...

What is the point of Expo graphic wraps?

A wrap for the prevention of desert pinstriping is a good thing.

    Best Eating Game Animal

Alaskan Moose, better than beef by far. Having never had Elk, I can't comment but I'm sure it's very good.

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

So I'm confused. Some on this board will take a $70k landcruiser on the trail but skoff when someone takes their $40k Touareg or Pepper on the trail because???

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

The early peppers and touaregs were problematic. I have a T2 and except for a minor moonroof leak, have been trouble free. I've taken some very tough trails on a stock steel spring V6 (I've since upgraded the tires) and found it very capable. Now for the disapointments. Those cool pics above...

My New (AEV) American Expedition Vehicles Jeep!!

+1 for you Dendy, it wasn't luck that took you where you are. If you want it go out and work for it. On another note, your AEV is awsome but I love your Conqueror trailer. Where did you get it?

where are the Porsche cayenne expo builds?

Since the Touareg is a cousin to the Cayenne it too suffers from a lack of aftermarket products for off-road use. It's darn hard enough just to find a decent skid plate. There have been some attempts but it was all custom stuff. Still, it takes me on 99% of the trails I'm interested in, and...

Ford 7.3 mileage, pure highway.. experience?

Also do some math and figure the percentage difference between your tires and stock. Multiply the difference to your miles driven for a more accurate number.

Ford 7.3 mileage, pure highway.. experience?

I concur the the rest, your lift and tire option is definately taking a toll. Cruise controls are not your best option for maximizing fuel economy. Try it manual and really feather the gas. Anticipate the hill and gain a couple mph and then let it drift back down as you climb. If you have an...
