I wouldn't trust them to survive around a lot of welding. I've worn them while doing some grinding and light welding without any holes but the material is that "technical feeling" stuff so I'm sure they have a much lower melting point than canvas or denim.

Is your fridge slide a DIY unit or a name brand? Did you get rid of the GFC unit or is it sitting in your garage taking up valuable space, being in your way all of the time, and just waiting for someone to come by and purchase it?

The diesel engine is the only reason I bought my '19 ZR2. At altitude it is a smooth rig. It doesn't hunt for gears and shift all the time like several other vehicles I have driven out here. That said, the tiny rear seat in a four door truck is the reason I will not be buying another one.

Could you post pics/explain how the winch is powered from the battery? I have a '19 diesel ZR2 and the battery/fuse situation on these trucks is a bit intimidating to me.
