DROdio,
First of all, congrats on your camper!
I'm going to be a little blunt here and ask if is this post really a review/comparison/analysis of pop campers? Its seems to me that this is more of a review and documentation of your XP camper. The review/comparison/analysis is biased towards XP...
I see you are using ridge rest foam pad underneath the dream time neoair. Is the ridge rest just for the overcab portion or the slid out portion as well? I'm thinking about removing my factory 2'' foam and 1 and 3/4'' pads so I can store the neoair on the overcab portion with the top down.
Is it out of the question to have the camper shipped back at the their expense rather than putting extra miles and wear on your truck? Just take your gas door off for color matching and go pick it up when its ready.
To be honest, if I got this type of response from the mfr. I would be pretty...

For the sake being fair, the in bed camper is probably just a prototype and why its not on their website. I got the link via google. I will say that the trailer is pretty awesome with all sorts of good ideas. I got to go inside of it when it was parked/demo at a local REI.

Light weight, durability, price and customer service and satisfaction. Sounds pretty straight forward to me. Of course this MY opinion and I'm not asking you or anyone else to agree with it.
I read and researched for over 4 years before I got my FWC Eagle.
Hmasten,
This is totally unfortunate.Have you checked out WTW?

Almost every pro and con of every camper and feature has been discussed in this form. All Terrain and Four Wheel Campers are the best pop up campers period! This is not the first time build...
I've been hearing a slight pinging noise when I accelerate from a dead stop. I thought maybe one of the bolts on the transmission bracket was loose. I double checked all the bolts and all seems fine. What I did notice was a space between center flange bolt and the rubber washers. Is this...
Sorry this may be a little off top but, is the air bag connect on bottom with the bumper stop? It doesn't look like it which is good for offroad. If that is the case I'm interested in installing some airbags in addition to my rebuilt deavers leaf pack due to the weight of my Eagle FWC.
There was a factory recall on the lower bj. A lot of dealers were only tightening them to half the factory torque specs. Thats exactly what happen to me. I retighten to factory spec with some red loctite.
Thanks man.:sombrero: A ridge rest is exactly what I used last night testing the neoair dreamtime without the factory cushions. I also tested the close position of the camper with the neoair dreamtime most deflated. It worked fine the fit was actually a little loose. The panel handle could flop...
